May
These 10 Memorial Day Weekend Events kick off the gay summer season in the US from Pensacola to Palm Springs. Meanwhile Puerto Vallarta becomes Mexico's gay capital for 7 days of amazing events, parades and parties during the resort's annual parade. The Vegas Gay Pool Party returns to the Luxor hotel while Maspalomas becomes the European epicentre of all things gay during Pride in Gran Canaria.
June
June hosts more than 200+ gay pride events, from New York to Madrid. Gay Capital, San Francisco, sees hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city and hosts some of the world's biggest circuit events, including Aquaria, an epic, 12-hour, Pride main event at the MidWay.
July
Madrid Gay pride is one of the top 3 pride parades in the world. The entire city transforms into a party zone for 7 days and nights in July. The US celebrates the 4th of July with some signature summer parties include the Pines Party on Fire Island and Independence in PTown. Meanwhile San Diego hosts epic circuit events during their pride celebrations mid-July.
August
At the height of Summer, August is one of the busiest months of the year for gay events. Mykonos is host to the Xlsior circuit festival; think buff boys and beach parties. In the US, New Orleans is party central for Southern Decadence and the annual carnival celebrations bring thousands to Provincetown. Chicago is home to the Market Days outdoor festival while Torremolinos hosts the Mad Beach bear event.
September
5000+ bears descend upon Sitges in Barcelona for what is arguably the biggest bear event in Europe. Meanwhile the gay tent at the Munich Oktoberfest is one of the most popular! Those in the US can celebrate the Oktoberfest in Cincinnati, the biggest beer fest outside of Germany. Miami is host to a late Pride this year and Detroit sees the return of the classic Motorball Circuit event.
October
Halloween, or Gay Christmas, is the perfect time to dress up and party. Los Angeles is host to some epic costume events while the Dallas block party is certainly a night you will not forget. Europe celebrates the hottest fetish week, literally on the beach in Maspalomas. The White Party in Palm Springs is a little later than normal this year, while Atlanta Pride makes for a great great Autumn escape.
November
November is a great time to top up your suntan and catch a winter pride event. Maspalomas, Buenos Aires and Palm Springs all host great pride events in November. Other circuit events to watch out for include the Mystiko event in beautiful Tulum and the Thanksgiving festivities in Puerto Vallarta. This year Fort Lauderdale Pride is later than usual and Taipei Pride is set to become the biggest gay event in Asia.
December
Christmas is one of our favourite times of year. Europe is home to some stunning Christmas Markets across the country from Munich to Frankfurt. In the US, don't miss the popular speedo run in Atlanta. End of year celebrations are high on everyone's agenda and the biggest gay circuit parties take place in Madrid and Bangkok not to mention the colorful Shoe Drop in Key West.
