Provincetown Carnival is already one of the biggest events on the Provincetown calendar seeing thousands of people heading to the coast.
Provincetown has become famous as a gay resort destination, seeing hundreds of thousands of gay boys and girls enjoying the Summer months, the carnival parade starts at the Harbor Hotel, 698 Commercial Street at 3 PM.
Other events inlcude, Brass Key Guesthouse Pool Party, the Richie Rich Vendor Fair, The Costume Ball, a Boat Cruise, spectacular T Dances, and the official closing party at the Crown & Anchor.
The festival has become a multi-day themed extravaganza including a parade that attracts over 80 entries annually. The event is a cross between a Pride parade, Mardi Gras and a Halloween parade.
Provincetown lies at the very end of Cape Cod, on the so-called “Outer Cape.” The western and northern reaches of Provincetown are dominated by the pristine, wind-swept dunes, beaches, and sea grass of Cape Cod National Seashore, and the northern section of town fronts the frothy Atlantic Ocean.
