Folsom Street Fair is the biggest leather rubber and fetish fair in the USA, attracting 200,000 fetish lovers from around the world
Folsom Street Fair is one of the largest and most famous fetish festivals in North America. The fair is produced by the Folsom Street Events, a non-profit organization raising money to benefit a range of different charities each year.
- Book your stay well in advance as people start planning the moment the last event ends as there are just 31 hotels in Soma, the home of the fair. Alternatively stay close to the downtown area, home to the city’s top hotels and take a rideshare or BART to the event.
Folsom Week San Francisco – 7 days of parties
- The Folsom Street Fair takes place on the last Sunday in September each year. The week leading up to the fair is packed full of some of the biggest gay circuit events in the USA.

The Folsom Street Fair
- Festivities take place along Folsom Street and neighboring blocks (13 blocks in total), from 12th to 7th streets.
- The fair is home to more than 200 community exhibitors and vendors, food and beverage stalls, and throngs of participants mingling, dancing, parading and of course performing. You will find guys wearing all sorts of fetish gear including, leather, rubber, uniforms and jocks – however everyone is welcome, no matter what you wear.
- Admission to the Folsom Street fair is free, but to raise money for charity you can pay the suggested admission. If you do pay the admission, you also receive a discount off every drink you purchase.

Folsom Street Circuit Events
Several large circuit parties take place over the weekend of the Folsom Street Fair to raise proceeds for local charities. The official Magnitude and Deviants party should not be missed, together with the SF Eagle’s Parking Lot Party. Other non official events continue to thrive. Many of them use the term “FLSM” or “Leather Weekend”, so as not to fall foul of the Folsom trademark. Highlights include:
- Real Bad San Francisco – The official Dance party after the fair.
- Hot Tea, “Leather Edition” – Popular Afternoon tea dance in San Francisco, post fair.
- Aftershock – The official “After Party” at Folsom with a 4am kick off.
- Matinee PERVERT – Big circuit style event with world class DJs.
- Big Muscle at DNA Lounge – Saturday afternoon event – very popular and fun.
- MR S Leather Block Party – Friday & Saturday outdoor block party, shop and drink!
- BRUT – Big production party, underground music and excellent DJs.
- Prime Meat Party – A trophy dad production with hot daddies and those who love them.
- Bearracuda Horse Meat Disco – Two epic party brands combine for one Friday night kick off event.
- Leather Pride at the Eagle – A series of events in the new Eagle Plaza and Bar. Held after the San Francisco Leather Walk.
- Masterdrome – Three of the biggest party organisers combine to bring you one epic night of fetish and kink.
