The Big Bear Romp is four fun-filled days of experiencing the best Big Bear has to offer during its most popular season.

Where to stay during the event?

The official hotel, Holiday Inn Resort, sells out well in advance. Other hotels nearby include:

• Bluegreen Vacations Big Bear Village – 3 star rated “Exceptional” by guests with outdoor pool, spacious rooms and superb service.
• Alternatively, rent your own cabin or vacation home. Big bear has some exceptional homes with pools and high-end amenities, perfect for groups.

• Drawing hundreds of guys from the west coast and beyond, The Big Bear Romp weekend provides a unique opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the rustic, natural beauty of SoCal’s premier mountain resort town with a full line-up of special events on and off the slopes.
• From cruising the lake to hitting the hiking trails, off-roading or just chilling, there’s plenty to do during the day.  Save your energy for mischief later in the evening, though!

Thursday

• Thursday  –9:30pm: ROMP ’n Bowl glow bowling at the Bowling Barn (downtown), food & bar available; lanes on first‑come first‑served basis

Friday

• 10am–5pm: “Let’s Get Soaking Wet” Pool Party with DJs, vendors, food & bar (pass; walk-up $30)
• 2pm–4pm: Lake Cruise aboard Big Bear Queen (ticketed separately)
• 6pm–9pm: “Wet Your Whistle” at Whiskey Dave’s in the Village (included in pass; walk‑up $20)
• 9pm–1am: BEEFWITCH underwear-themed dance party on hotel’s 2nd floor (pass; walk-up $40)

Saturday

• 10am–6pm: “Bear Soup” Pool Party – poolside games by Chiklet, DJs, food & vendors (pass; walk-up $30)
• 3:30pm–5:30pm: Phil’s Trivia at Stillwells Cove (pass; walk-up $20)
• 7pm–8pm: Mountains of Laughs Comedy Night featuring Chris Grace & Joseph Schles (doors open 6:30pm; pass includes; walk-up $30)
• 9pm–1am: ROMP In The Dark—leather & gear dance party at hotel 2nd floor (pass; walk-up $40)

Sunday

• 8am: Buffet breakfast at Stillwells Restaurant (optional, not included in pass)
• 10am–1pm: Bitchy Bingo at Stillwells Patio (bingo included with pass; buffet optional)
• 10am–5pm: Last Splash Pool Party to wrap up the weekend (pass; walk-up $20)
• 5pm: Diehards & Stayouts final hang at Whiskey Dave’s (open to all, no pass required)

Big Bear Lake

• Big Bear Lake is in Southern California. It sits on the banks of fish-filled Big Bear Lake. It’s known for Bear Mountain ski resort, with its terrain parks and learner slopes.
• Boutiques, gift shops and restaurants line the streets of Big Bear Lake Village, the commercial area.
• Surrounding the city, the rugged San Bernardino National Forest has mountain trails. The resort has some charming gay-friendly deluxe hotels, inns, boutique guesthouses, traditional bed and breakfasts, cabin and lodges.
• Murray's – Chill, family-run bar offering complimentary billiards & snacks, plus karaoke & American food.
