Urge Miami, produces some of the city´s top gay parties and events, from circuit nights and pop up special editions during holiday celebrations.

The Event

• Stay close to the party at Moxy Miami South Beach, a stylish hotel just four minutes on foot from M2, with a rooftop pool and an ideal location for a late finish.

The Venue

• M2 Miami – A vast 35,000-square-foot nightclub inside a restored Art Deco theatre at 1235 Washington Avenue.
• The double-height main room features a full-size stage, large dance floor, festival-level sound and lighting, multiple bars and elevated VIP areas.
• The venue previously operated as Mansion, Level and Prince’s Glam Slam, giving it one of the richest club histories in South Beach.
• M2 is three blocks from Ocean Drive and around a five-minute walk from the beach.

Getting to M2 Miami

• M2 is located at 1235 Washington Avenue, between 12th and 13th Streets in South Beach.
• From most South Beach hotels, the club is easily reached on foot or by a short taxi or rideshare journey.
• From Downtown Miami, allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes by rideshare, with extra time needed during weekend traffic.
• Set your return pickup point on Collins Avenue or a quieter side street, since Washington Avenue becomes crowded when the club closes.

Before the Party

Start in South Beach around Ocean Drive and Washington Avenue. Both bars below are convenient for M2, the venue listed in your current guide; check the next URGE announcement before planning your route.

• Palace – 1052 Ocean Drive. Start with dinner, cocktails and drag performances at this longstanding LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant. Its pavement-side setting makes it a sociable opening to the evening, around five minutes’ walk from M2. Check the performance schedule when booking a table.
• Twist – 1057 Washington Avenue. A South Beach gay institution with seven bars, three dance floors and no cover charge. Arrive earlier for drinks before it develops into a full club night. M2 is roughly five minutes away on foot.
• These are independent suggestions for drinks before URGE. If the next edition moves to the mainland, allow extra time for a taxi across the causeway.

Where to Stay

For an M2 edition, stay around Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive between 8th and 16th Streets. You can combine beach days and gay nightlife with a walk back after the party.

• The Marlin Hotel – Boutique hotel at 1200 Collins Avenue, approximately three minutes’ walk from M2. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains and spacious rain showers make it particularly appealing after a late finish.
• The Tony Hotel South Beach – Art Deco stay near 8th Street, with a rooftop pool and bar for daytime downtime. Close to Twist and Palace, and around ten minutes’ walk from M2.
• The Betsy Hotel – Luxury Ocean Drive option with marble bathrooms, original art and a rooftop pool. Around ten minutes’ walk from M2, with the beach across the road.
• Loews Miami Beach Hotel – Larger beachfront resort at 16th Street, with an expansive pool deck, spa and several restaurants. Suits a longer stay mixing parties with beach time; allow roughly fifteen minutes to walk to M2.
