Each year on the second Saturday in September Club Church takes their beat to the street
Each year on the second Saturday in September, Club Church takes their beat to the street in a unique Queer Street Party.
- Stay close to Club Church and the Street Party at the Dikker & Thijs Hotel an 18th-century former warehouse with beautiful canal views.
The Street Festival
- Church goes outside to fly the queer flag and reclaim Kerkstraat, the first LGBT street in Holland.
- Celebrate a free and fabulous Amsterdam with the Club, their friends and neighbours as Kerkstraat returns to its queer roots with quirky Church performers, DJs and attitude.
- The street party runs from 1 pm to 9 pm and is free to enter. The after-party takes over Club Church from 9 pm to 5 am.
- Expect outrageous performances, pretty boys, superb music and a fun and friendly vibe all afternoon.
The Club
- Club Church is on Kerkstraat 52, a large gay cruise club with a dance floor, showers, slings and private cabins.
- Take any tram or bus to the Leidseplein; from there, it’s a 5-minute walk down Leidsestraat until you get to Kerkstraat. Or simply grab a taxi to Kerkstraat 52.
- Treat yourself to a luxurious escape at the Banks Mansion Amsterdam, an all-inclusive boutique hotel, rated “Superb” by guests, with stylish rooms, perfect location and exceptional service, just 8 minutes walk to the Street Party.
