15 days of fun and partying on a Caribbean Island, Curacao celebrates with a series of parties and events throughout early October.
Welcome to the Curaçao Pride 2026
Curaçao Gay Pride is one of the most colorful events in the Caribbean and shines a light for gay people across the region.
- Stay at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort close to all of the pride celebrations, and right by the beach so you can relax in between street parties and parades.
The Festival
- Next Edition – Wednesday 30th September, 2026 – Sunday 4th October, 2026.
- If you always dreamed of partying on a Caribbean Island, sipping your cocktail under waving palm trees, enjoying the best DJ's and dancing with the most beautiful boys and girls… this is your chance! with lots to do over this 10 day event.
- While events run for two weeks, the major parties are held over the final weekend from Thursday.
- Highlights of the Curaçao Pride include the Pride Walk (the pride parade), the Pride Happy Hours and the White Party.
- Curaçao is known for being one of the most the gay friendly islands in the Caribbean. In July 2024, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands ruled same-sex marriage is legal in Curaçao.

Parade Kick Off Party
- Thursday, Awaiting dates – From 5 pm to 7 pm – A Music and bigh extragavanza at the Fort Fiff Stage, taking place before the main parade.
- Events are held at the Renaissance Mall & Rif Fort Rif Fort, Willemstad
The Pride Walk/Parade
- Typically the final Thursday of the celebrations – The parade gathers at 6 pm and typically departs at 7 pm.
- Featuring colorful floats, dazzling costumes, and a fun and friendly Caribbean vibe.
- Check out the top hotels close to the parade. Stay at The Dolphin Suites , offering stylish rooms and suites in Willemstad, within walking distance of the famous Sea Aquarium Beach and the Curacao Sea-Aquarium.
Parade viewing tips
- For the best views, arrive early and grab a spot along Breedestraat in Punda (good street access)
- Bridge crossing zones (Queen Emma Bridge) is also a popular vantage point.
- On the Punda side approaching Wilhelmina Park Arrive well before start (1 hour minimum) to get good spots
The Rainbow Park & Concert Event
- Kicks off at 5 pm and runs until 10 pm – Gets busy as the parade arrives around 8 pm.
- As the Pride Parade reaches its colorful destination, Wilhelminaplein, is transformed into a lively Rainbow Park.
- The park hosts a wide range of vendors offering LGBTQ+ merchandise, delicious food and cocktails.
- As the sun sets, the stage becomes the focal point for a show-stopping lineup of performances with drag queens, musicians, and special guest acts.
The Pool Party
- Awaiting dates – Typically events kick off on the Saturday before Pride with the official pool Party.
- Free entry, daytime swim-and-dance vibe with a “Best Outfit” contest.
- Previous events have take place at Saint Tropez Ocean Club, centrally located in the Hip & Historic Pietermaai District, which is only on a 10 minute walking distance from down town Punda.
- Stay at the official pool hotel, at the Saint Tropez Boutique Hotel, rated “Excellent” by guests with stunning views and superb location.
The Block Party
- Awaiting dates – Typically the final Friday of Pride. A unique block party from 7pm.
- An open-air street party like no other! Experience bold performances, eclectic beats, street food, and a vibrant crowd swaying under the stars. It’s the perfect way to keep the Pride energy going all night long.
- Previous events have been held at Mr. Porter, Street Cafe in Nieuwestraat 42 Willemstad.
Pride Main party
- Awaiting dates – Typically the final Saturday of Pride. The ultimate last bash party from 9 pm to 3am.
- Curaçao Pride’s hottest party — bold beats, untamed vibes, and a packed dancefloor.
- With guest DJs and surprise performances.
- Previous events have been held at La Coco Jamboo República, located in the remerging Breedestraat district.
Gaze Bar Parties
- Gaze Bar & Lounge – The exclusive LGBTQ+ hotspot in Curacao. As the island's sole gay bar.
- Open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for sensational drag shows, themed parties, karaoke and energetic dancing.
- The venue hosts a series of themed parties, drag shows and special events throughout the pride celebrations.
