Out on the Mountain 2026

Out on the Mountain is one of the biggest gay amusement park parties in California and takes place each year.

The Rides

  • Next Edition – Awaiting dates – Typically Friday in late August.
  • This exclusive LGBTQ+ event promises a night full of fun, excitement, and community spirit as they take over Six Flags Amusement Park.
  • Exclusive Ride Time: Enjoy thrilling rides and attractions with shorter lines as the park is open only for event attendees.
  • Live DJ and Dance Party: Groove to the beats of top DJs spinning the latest hits all night long.
  • Drag Show Extravaganza: Be amazed by performances from some of the most talented drag queens in the country.
  • Food and Drinks: Savor delicious food and drinks from various vendors throughout the park.
  • Photo Ops: Capture the memories with themed photo booths and roaming photographers.

    WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage, West Coast Racers, CraZanity, Twisted Colossus, Full Throttle, Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, Superman: Escape from Krypton, Batman: the Ride, The New Revolution – Classic, Tatsu, The Riddler's Revenge, and X2.

The After Party

  • Awaiting stage lineup for the 2026 edition.
  • The night is capped off with DJs and dancing into the night!
  • Over 5,000 people are expected to attend this annual Southern California event of thrill rides and private gay after party.
  • Out on the Mountain Six Flags helps to raise funds for local gay charities and organizations.
  • The entire park is closed to the general public for this private LGBT party from 6pm-12am.

The Venue, Getting to Six Flags, Out on the Mountain

Out on the Mountain takes place at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA (about 30 miles north of LA).

  • Metro – From Downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Red Line to the North Hollywood Station. Then take the North Hollywood 757 Express bus to the McBean Regional Transit Station (MRTC). From there connect to a Santa Clarita Transit routes 3 & 7 to Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  • Ride Share – Distance between West Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain is approx. 32 miles (52 km) with 50 min travel time. Cost varies between USD 30/50 for Uber X. Surge charges for this event may apply.
