The Event
- Next Edition: Friday 7th August, 2026 – BACKDOOR returns for WorldPride Amsterdam with one of the biggest circuit nights of the week.
- Expect a full-scale production inside Club Panama, built around tribal and circuit house, big-room energy and a packed international crowd.
- This is one of the city’s flagship gay parties, known for pulling in visitors from across Europe for Pride weekend. Think headline DJs, dancers, performance moments and a dancefloor that doesn’t slow down until sunrise.
- Lights, CO2 blasts, confetti drops and immersive visuals push the atmosphere hard from the first hour. It’s designed as a full sensory experience, not just another club night.
- Full lineup to be confirmed. Arrive before midnight if you want the full build-up. The party gets really busy after 1 am.

Around Rembrandtplein, Café Montmartre brings an authentic Parisian vibe to the heart of Amsterdam. On Utrechtsestraat, there is the Netherlands’ only drag queen café, De Lellebel, which is renowned for its glittering lip-sync performances.

- The Reguliersdwarsstraat is one of the most important LGBTI streets in Amsterdam for wining, dining and partying. At the core of the area is the espresso bar Lunchroom Downtown. It originally opened in 1970, and although it wasn’t the first gay business in the area.
