Getting around during PS Leather Pride

  • Most of the other events are spread out across downtown Arenas.
  • Note, Walking beats rideshares across Arenas at peak times.
  • Halloween on Arenas overlaps the opening night; so plan dinner and entry times in advance as its exceptionally busy.
  • Tool Shed is in the Warm Sands district of Palm Springs, a short ride south of the Arenas Road gay nightlife strip, (roughly a 12–15-minute walk or 3–4 minutes by taxi or rideshare).
  • It’s close enough for people to walk from the Arenas area after dinner or early bars, but most take a quick Uber late at night, especially after events like Dark Alley.
  • Weather: Late October in Palm Springs still warm during day; night can drop – pack layers.

Popular Cruising Bars

  • Hunters – Popular gay bar, especially for leather guys and men in gear for Fur Fridays. Dancing and cruising every night.
  • Tool Shed – Men only bar in the heart of Palm Springs with regular theme nights and beefy bar tenders.
  • CCBC Resort Hotel – Hotel/cruising club with 4 playrooms, a compound and 12-hour day passes at the Cathedral City Boys Club.

Getting Around

  • Hotel Zoso, Hunters, Chill Bar and Dicks on Arenas are in or beside the downtown Arenas Road district and can be reached on foot from central hotels.
  • Tool Shed is on East Sunny Dunes Road, about a 15-minute walk from Arenas Road. A short rideshare is more comfortable in full gear or late at night.
  • CCBC Resort and The Eagle are in Cathedral City. Allow time for a rideshare in each direction and do not plan to walk from downtown Palm Springs.
