The Event

- Sin City is held on the MLK weekend which falls on Monday 19th Jan in 2026.
- Featuring 24 different sports, 10,000 athletes and fans, 24 sports and 500 teams.
- The city is awash with hot athletes working hard during the day and partying just as hard at night.
- GLASA created the Sin City Classic in 2008 & remains committed to creating the best experience possible for diverse roster of dedicated athletes who participate & the fans & allies to come to enjoy the festival.
Where to stay during Sin City
Sin City Classic takes place over the MLK long weekend, so the city will be busier than normal. It is also the Hustlaball weekend.
- The Flamingo is the host hotel for the event. The hotel fills up fast, so book as early in advance as possible.
- Other hotels frequented by athletes during the games include The Link and The Rio.
- The games include a variety of sports; from softball to flag football. Consider the event a smaller version of the Gay Games.

Sports Schedule
Touted as the largest annual LGBT sporting event anywhere, the Classic (formally the Sin City Shoot Out) has evolved into a five-day tournament and gathering for more than 8,500 athletes. The schedule is heavy on softball, the only sport played at the inaugural 2008 edition. Since then the event has grown to include 23 other sports and games, from hockey and rock climbing to dodgeball, darts and bridge.
- Softball – Main Event – The Softball Masters championship start from 8am and finish at 4pm on Friday. For all other divisions, the championship games are scheduled to begin at approximately 6pm on Sunday, so please make your travel arrangements accordingly.
