Recon, the leading gay fetish dating and lifestyle brand, presents the grand finale event during the Folsom Europe celebrations.
- Are you visiting during Folsom Europe? Stay at the Scandic Berlin Kurfürstendamm a “Travel Proud” certified hotel. We love its location, which is steps from the party.
The Party
- Next Edition: Sunday, September 12, 2027 .
- RECON Berlin is the official closing party of Folsom Europe.
- The party traditionally starts around 9 pm and runs until late, with final 2027 opening times awaiting release.
- Expect a men-only crowd mixing international Folsom visitors with Berlin’s leather and fetish scene.
- Guest DJs provide the soundtrack, with dance areas, cruising zones and spaces to meet guys away from the main floor.
- Fetish dress is part of the experience, with leather, rubber, sportswear, pups, skin, jocks, trackies, trainers and other kink looks welcome.
- The final 2027 DJ line-up and ticket release are awaiting announcement.
- Stay in Schöneberg and you can walk between the closing party, gay bars and many of the weekend’s fetish venues.
What to Expect
- After several days of parties and Saturday’s huge Folsom Europe Street Fair, RECON brings everyone together for one final night.
- The Sunday closing party has a different feel from Saturday’s massive PiG event. The crowd is still ready to party, but there is a stronger social and cruising element as guys reconnect with people they have met during the weekend.
- Expect a broad mix of fetish tribes, ages and styles. Leather and rubber sit alongside sportswear, pups, jocks, skin looks and other gear.
- The party combines DJs and dancing with cruising areas, giving you plenty of opportunities to move between the dance floor and darker parts of the venue.
The Venue – Metropol Berlin
The 2027 venue is awaiting final ticket confirmation, with Metropol expected to return as the home of the closing party.
- Metropol Berlin is at Nollendorfplatz 5, 10777 Berlin.
- The historic venue sits directly on Nollendorfplatz in the heart of Schöneberg’s gay district.
- Originally opened as a theatre in the early twentieth century, the building combines ornate historic interiors with modern club production.
- Its large main room, balconies and additional spaces give the closing party room for dancing, socialising and cruising.
- Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn station is directly outside.
- The bars around Fuggerstraße, Motzstraße and Welserstraße are all within walking distance.
Getting to the Party
- Metropol’s location makes RECON one of the easiest major Folsom parties to reach.
- From the Folsom Europe Street Fair area around Fuggerstraße and Welserstraße, allow around 5 to 10 minutes on foot.
- From bars such as Prinzknecht on Fuggerstraße, the walk is only a few minutes.
- If you are staying around Wittenbergplatz, allow roughly 10 minutes on foot.
- Nollendorfplatz station sits directly outside Metropol, with U-Bahn connections across Berlin.
Folsom Europe Sunday
- Folsom Europe runs from Wednesday 8th September to Sunday 12th September 2027.
- Sunday is the final day of the weekend and gives visitors a chance to recover, meet friends and fit in one last round of events.
- The afternoon includes the Folsom Europe Fetish Boat, cruising along the River Spree with DJs, drinks and an international fetish crowd.
- After the boat, return to Schöneberg for dinner, drinks and the final night.
- RECON Berlin then takes over from around 9 pm for the official closing party.
Tickets
- 2027 ticket sales are awaiting release.
- Tickets should be available through the official Folsom Europe Ticket Shop once the new programme goes on sale.
- Advance purchase is recommended for the official weekend parties.
Where to Stay
Stay in Schöneberg, preferably between Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz. This puts you close to RECON, the Street Fair and many of Berlin’s best-known gay and fetish bars, letting you spend most of the weekend on foot.
- RIU Plaza Berlin – Spacious modern rooms and a gym close to Nollendorfplatz. A particularly convenient Folsom base with Metropol, Fuggerstraße and the main gay district within walking distance.
- Mercure Hotel Berlin Wittenbergplatz – Fashion-inspired interiors directly beside Wittenbergplatz and KaDeWe. Metropol is around a 10-minute walk away, making the journey home after RECON very easy.
- Hotel Berlin, Berlin – A large contemporary hotel at Lützowplatz with spacious rooms, a fitness area and plenty of room to recover after the Folsom weekend. Nollendorfplatz is around a 5-minute walk away, putting Metropol and the Schöneberg gay district close by.
- SANA Berlin Hotel – Contemporary rooms and apartments with an indoor pool, sauna and fitness facilities. The larger accommodation works well for visitors staying for the complete Folsom week.

Being such a large city, gay neighbourhoods are scattered around Berlin, in the districts of Schöneberg and Kreuzberg (the western part of Berlin) as well as in Prenzlauer Berg (eastern part). Recently, the district of Friedrichshain developed a trendy area for upmarket coffee shops and cocktail bars. The majority of the gay hotels, bars, cafes and shops in Berlin are located in the Schöneberg district.
