The Event

- Barcelona Queer Market celebrates the city’s LGBTQ+ community with shopping, entertainment, food and live performances in the heart of Eixample.
- The market brings together queer-owned businesses, designers, artists, community groups and independent makers from across Barcelona.
- Visitors can browse the stalls, join workshops, watch drag performances and live shows, listen to local DJs and take part in a community book exchange.
- The event runs from 11 am until 2 am. The daytime market develops into an open-air street party, with music and entertainment continuing until 2 am.
- Organised by Xarxa de Comerç Divers, Barcelona’s gay chamber of commerce.

- Home to a thriving LGBTQ+ community, it has a lively gay scene, with many gay bars, clubs, and restaurants, particularly in an area known as “Gayxample,” located within Eixample.
- Eixample is essentially part of Barcelona’s city centre, making it easily accessible from most parts of the city.
