- BANANAS takes over Hotel Ziggy for a five-hour Labor Day Weekend pool party, marking the final big splash of the Los Angeles summer season.
- Expect a friendly, body-positive gay crowd in swimwear, with pop favourites, tropical beats and poolside sets from DJs C:3 and DUSTN. Red, white and blue outfits are encouraged, with tiny swimsuits very much part of the look.
- Tickets start at $15 for early entry, rising to $20 online and $25 at the door. The party is strictly 21+, government-issued photo ID is required, and outside food, drinks and backpacks are not permitted. A staffed bag check costs $5.
The Pool Venue
- Hotel Ziggy is a rock-and-roll-inspired boutique hotel on the Sunset Strip, mixing music, street art and playful interiors with one of West Hollywood’s largest courtyard saltwater pools.
- The pool sits at the centre of the hotel’s open-air courtyard, surrounded by loungers, daybeds, bar service and Pizza Girl, the hotel’s casual pizza restaurant. Reserved poolside tables and daybeds admit four guests, with a $50 non-refundable reservation fee and a $350 minimum beverage spend.
