BRÜT Halloween
- Next Edition: Saturday, October 24, 2026.
- Time: 22:00-04:00.
- Theme: Dark Magic.
- Venue: 2811 E Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90023.
- DJs: Dan Darlington and Matt Suave.
- Age: 21+.
- Tickets: Book through the official BRÜT ticketing partner.
- Organiser: BRÜT Party.
What to Expect
BRÜT has built its reputation on muscular house music, provocative themes and productions that encourage guests to leave their everyday inhibitions at the door.
- Dark Magic takes that formula into Halloween territory, with a warehouse setting designed around dramatic lighting, industrial surroundings and an unapologetically adult atmosphere.
- A gay male crowd, including bears, muscle guys, leather men and circuit regulars.
- Underground house and driving electronic music from two BRÜT DJs.
- Large-scale lighting, lasers and production designed for the industrial venue.
- Halloween costumes with a fetish twist, from leather demons to masked creatures.
- A dedicated VIP play area for guests looking for a more adventurous experience.
- This is a dance party with a strong fetish influence, rather than a traditional Halloween costume contest.
Dress Code – Dark Magic
- Halloween at BRÜT is an excuse to push your usual party look further.
- Leather, harnesses, jockstraps, masks and dark fantasy costumes are all in keeping with the theme.
- Think demons, sorcerers, creatures of the night and fetish-inspired interpretations of Halloween rather than conventional fancy dress.
- The organiser is providing a clothing check, making it easier to arrive in a full costume and change into something more suitable for dancing.
The Venue – 2811 E Olympic Boulevard
- The party takes place at an industrial warehouse venue at 2811 E Olympic Boulevard, east of Downtown Los Angeles.
- The address is associated with Don Quixote, an event space used for nightlife and large-scale productions.
- The surrounding area has an industrial character, with warehouses, commercial buildings and relatively little pedestrian nightlife compared with West Hollywood.
- BRÜT’s Halloween production makes use of the warehouse environment rather than a conventional nightclub interior.
- Main Dance Floor – A large open space for the DJs, dancers and Halloween crowd.
- Lighting and Production – Lasers, dramatic lighting and effects designed to transform the industrial setting.
- VIP Play Area – A dedicated space advertised as part of the Halloween production.
- Clothing Check – Available for guests who want to change out of their arrival outfits.
Getting There
- The venue is east of Downtown Los Angeles, making a taxi or rideshare the most practical option for most visitors.
- From Downtown LA – Allow approximately 10-20 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
- From West Hollywood – Allow approximately 25-40 minutes, with longer journeys possible during Halloween weekend.
- From Hollywood – Approximately 20-35 minutes by car.
- Book your return journey through a rideshare app and arrange pickup on a well-lit nearby street if traffic restrictions affect access to the entrance.
Before the Party – Los Angeles Gay Bars
With a 22:00 start, there is plenty of time for dinner and drinks before heading to the warehouse.
Choose between the bars of West Hollywood or a more alternative evening in Downtown LA.
West Hollywood
- The Abbey – One of Los Angeles’s best-known gay bars, with a large patio, restaurant, multiple bars and a busy weekend crowd. A good meeting point for groups before travelling to the party.
- Trunks – A relaxed gay sports bar on Santa Monica Boulevard, popular for afternoon drinks, friendly bartenders and a sociable atmosphere.
- Rocco’s WeHo – A large corner bar with outdoor seating, DJs and drag entertainment. Particularly lively on Saturday evenings.
Downtown LA
- Precinct – A popular gay bar in Downtown Los Angeles, known for its alternative crowd, drag shows, themed nights and DJs. A natural starting point for BRÜT guests who prefer to stay closer to the venue.
- KISO Los Angeles – A gay nightclub at 107 West 4th Street in Downtown LA, featuring two bars, a central lounge and a dance floor. Expect drag shows, guest DJs and themed weekend parties, with a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd. A great alternative to Precinct for drinks and dancing before BRÜT.
For dinner, the restaurants of Little Tokyo and the Arts District provide alternatives to West Hollywood before heading east for the party.
Where to Stay
For this edition, Downtown Los Angeles makes more sense than West Hollywood if your priority is getting to and from the warehouse.
Stay near the Historic Core, South Broadway or Bunker Hill for a choice of design hotels, restaurants and nightlife. West Hollywood remains an alternative if you want to spend most of your weekend exploring the city’s main gay bar district.
Our four hotel recommendations focus on Downtown LA, with a mix of luxury, boutique design and convenient locations.
- Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel – Our first choice for a stylish Halloween weekend. Housed in a restored historic building on South Broadway, the hotel features Kelly Wearstler interiors, individually designed rooms, a rooftop swimming pool and the popular Cara Cara rooftop restaurant. An excellent base for visitors who appreciate contemporary design and want to explore Downtown’s restaurants and cocktail bars.
- Conrad Los Angeles – Our luxury recommendation, located beside Walt Disney Concert Hall on Grand Avenue. Spacious modern rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, spa and several restaurants make it ideal for couples planning a more indulgent weekend. Particularly appealing for guests who want a quieter hotel after a late night.
- The Hoxton, Downtown LA – A fashionable boutique hotel in a restored Beaux-Arts building on South Broadway. Expect warm, retro-inspired rooms, a lively lobby restaurant, rooftop dining and an outdoor pool. A good choice for friends travelling together who want a sociable hotel with plenty of character.
- Hotel Per La – An elegant hotel in the former Bank of Italy building on South Olive Street, combining historic architectural details with contemporary Italian-inspired design. Features stylish rooms, a rooftop pool and restaurant. Our recommendation for visitors who enjoy distinctive architecture and a central Downtown location.
