Come to the biggest water park gay party! It’s a unique and different day created to enjoy the sun, the aquatic rides, the music, the performances… and mainly, the energy of thousands of people came from all over the world. A whole year waiting for it!
- The party is the highlight of the 10 day annual Barcelona Gay Circuit Festival, which attracts almost 80,000 visitors to the city in August.
Circuit Water Park Barcelona
- 14,000 guys attended the Water Park Party! Matinee rents out the entire Illa Fantasia water park for 24 hours. It is a 40 minute drive from Eixample, Barcelona’s gay district. Matinee provides buses to and from the event.
- You can purchase a day pass, a night pass or a total party pass! If you are attending the entire event, bring a change of clothes. There are lockers and showers onsite. Queues for these can also be quite long.
2024 Program
- 10 am – 2 pm FUN AT THE WATER PARK From 10 am, you can relax in our special chill out areas. If you’re feeling more energetic, you can also have fun at the pool, rides and party areas.
- 2 pm – 10 pm MAIN STAGE PARTY Don’t get so relaxed, because as time goes by, our big open air party will start at the main stage. It will end with an incredible firework show that you can’t miss!
- 10 pm – 6 am WATER PARK NIGHT! When the sun sets, the party will be far from over. From 10 pm, we’ll move to the Illa Fantasia’s club venue and Matinee will keep you moving to the rhythm of the best DJs and the sexiest dancers! Don’t miss out the unique atmosphere that you will find there when the sun goes down!

We have been to every water park party since the beginning! Here are our editors top tips for a successful day out!
- Don’t miss the amazing fireworks display at the end of the party. The best time to arrive is by 2pm.
- The park has several food vendors dotted across the site so you won’t go hungry.
- Illa Fantasia is roughly 40 mins to one hour from the centre of Barcelona by bus depending on traffic. Enjoy the bus journey..the energy and excitement of your fellow party goers is part of the experience.
- There are also several pool parties which can be more intimate than the mega aqua park event! Full program to be confirmed.
- The Opening and closing parties are also where you will find the big DJ headliners and the most amazing GoGos complete with spectacular light shows and theatrics.
- Don’t want the party to end? Head to Mykonos at the end of August for the Xlsior Circuit Festival!
How to get to the Circuit Water Park in Barcelona
- From Barcelona: Circuit bus stop right outside Hard Rock Café (Plaça Catalunya, 21). Shuttle service to water park every 5 minutes from 9:30 am to 6:30 am.
- You can take RENFE suburban trains with destination Mataró, Calella or Blanes (you can catch them at Clot, Arc de Triomf, Plaça Catalunya or Sants Station); get off at Premià de Mar station and take the Illa Fantasia shuttle (one every 15 min)
