Kick Start your celebrations with a Gay Christmas Festival – Provincetown style!
Provincetown’s Holly folly is a weekend long festival of fun shopping, parties, events and cultural activities to kick start your Christmas celebrations.Don’t miss the popular Inn Stroll, where Ptown’s famed guest houses open their doors to the public. Pace yourself for this one, as the innkeepers out ‘Martha Stewart’ each other in decorations, treats and libations.
It is standing room only for the outlandish Drag Bingo, a major benefit for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) of Cape Cod. The schedule of events is pretty packed!
And get those abs in shape and perhaps meet the love of your life in the first ever Santa Speedo Run, a 1 mile run down the center of town, with proceeds benefiting the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund. But keep your drag outfits handy for our Drag Brunch as well.
Other highlights include the The Snow Ball at the A House on Friday night, the Santa Speedo Run & Champagne Brunch on Saturday Afternoon, the BOSTON GAY MEN’S CHORUS at Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street on Saturday Night at 8pm and the Retro Dance Party in Club Purgatory at The Gifford House Inn. Sunday completes the festivities with a Drag Brunch and a Leather Disco night.
Finally, make sure you check out the unique Christmas Tree of PTown, made from Lobster Pots, we guarantee you have never seen at tree like this one!
Finding the right place to stay can sometimes be difficult as the beat places book out fast, especially the ones close to the gay bars and clubs, as you can see from the map there are not many that will keep you in the heart of all the fun.
