Note! This event was previously held annually in October. The event has now moved to June. The event has yet to issue an update about future celebrations.

Gay Myrtle Beach
- The Grand Strand, the South Carolina beach towns and barrier islands that stretch from Little River to Georgetown, attracts over 15 million visitors each year, including a growing number of gay couples and their kids. At the center is Myrtle Beach, full of amusement parks, aquariums, and miles of sandy beaches.
Myrtle Beach Pride Week
- Myrtle Beach’s annual Pride celebrations are a family friendly affair and kick off on the first weekend in October. This fun filled event aims to the give local LGBTQ community a safe and fun space to enjoy and celebrate Pride.
- Awaiting dates – A seven-day program of events are held culminating at the weekend of fun and festivities.
- Awaiting dates – The main party starts on the final Friday Night with a special Pride concert featuring the best of local drag acts and invited guest performers from nearby Charleston and beyond. Venue to be confirmed.
Pride in the Park
- Awaiting dates – On the final Saturday, the main event, Pride in the Park, is hosted by the Grand Strand Pride organization. The festival takes place at Valor Park in The Market Common in Myrtle Beach and runs from 10am until late.
- Pride in the Park festival includes several stands for LGBTQ associations, pride merchandise as well as food trucks and drinks. The main stage in the park hosts shows all day long. Last year the event attracted more than 5,000 visitors and is growing in popularity each year.
Gay Myrtle Beach
The out of town gays from Charleston mingle with gay locals for a gay fun-filled weekend beach escape. Head for drinks later at the local's gay favorite, St George Bar on 8th Avenue, then head to the after party on Saturday night at Pulse Ultra Club. It is always a sell out success.
