Dallas Purple Party weekend is the biggest gay circuit party event on the Dallas Calendar, attracting thousands of guys from around the world, for this nonstop weekend of dance fun.
The Event
- Next Edition: – Thursday May 1st to Monday May 5th, 2025 – Dallas Purple party weekend consists of four epic circuit parties, three legendary pool events and three late night after parties.
- Events are quite spectacular with over-the-top costumes, international guest DJs, sexy guys and a fun vibe.
Hotels for The Purple Party
This is one of the busiest gay weekends of the year in Dallas. Stay close to the main events at the following hotels:
- Renaissance Dallas Hotel – delicious breakfasts, large rooms with city views.
- Hilton Garden Inn Dallas – great rates, clean rooms and friendly and attentive staff.

Stay close to the gay bars
- If you want to be in the heart of the gay district, stay at the Canopy Hotel in Uptown, and take a rideshare to the parties (10-15 mins depending on traffic).
The Pool Parties
- Awaiting dates – Parties typically fall as follows:
- Friday – RISE – The opening pool party .
- Saturday – SHINE – The biggest Dallas Pool party of the season.
- Sunday – REVIVAL – Get wet this Sunday Funday.
- The pool parties take place at the Dallas Marriott Suites Medical/Market Center.
Night Circuit Events

- Thursday – ROAR – 9 pm at S4 Dallas

- Sunday – GLOW – 5 pm at Strauss Square.

Gay Dallas
- Many of the gay bars and clubs on The Strip, Cedar Springs Road in Oak Lawn will also host special parties as the gay neighbourhood fills up with guys ready to party for one of the biggest weekends of the year.
- Oak Lawn & Cedar Springs – Often also referred to as “The Strip”, Oak Lawn is located a few miles north of downtown Dallas. It is known for being a trendy, LGBTQ-friendly neighborhood that offers many different coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and more. There are some great hotels in the uptown district, close to the strip.
- There’s always a party at one of the many LGBT-geared bars and clubs on Cedar Springs. Grab happy hour drinks at JR’s Bar & Grill, or Woody’s. Dance the night away at S4, or TMC. Two-step with the cowboys of The Round-Up Saloon. Or take in one of the elaborate drag shows at the Rose Room inside S4.
