Gay Cologne
- Cologne has two main gay areas, each offering a different atmosphere.
- Rudolfplatz and Schaafenstraße form the city’s busiest modern gay district, packed with bars, cafés and late-night venues. The area is sometimes referred to locally as the Bermuda Triangle.
- The Old Town around Heumarkt has a more traditional feel, with longstanding gay pubs, bars and mixed venues. It’s also a convenient area for the Rhine and the boat departure points used during previous editions.
- The two districts are approximately a 15-minute walk apart, making it easy to explore both during your stay.
Stay close to the river and Old Town at the Hotel An Der Philharmonie.
