The Black Party New York is part of the Black Party Expo, which takes place every year
Update 2024 Edition – After several years absence, organisers confirm the event will return in March 2024.
Considered by many as the Father of all large circuit events, THE BLACK PARTY® is one of Gay New York’s most attended, longest running and highly anticipated events.

The Event

The Dress Code
- Black Party attendees are encouraged to “dress heavy” Saturday night, thousands of men in acres of leather and miles of steel chain will check their inhibitions at the door and converge to soak in an atmosphere of unapologetic, testosterone-infused hedonism.
Party Rules
- Cameras are not allowed inside the party, where porn stars will showcase their various talents onstage, clothing will come off, and party goers will publicly maul each other on the dance floor, in the bathrooms, and anywhere else that’s dark and available. One thing is guaranteed: once you step into the Black Party, you are officially not in Kansas anymore.
The Venue
- The 2025 edition venue is to be confirmed.
- Stage 48, located in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, is a multi-use venue that seamlessly blends the allure of a high-energy nightclub with the functionalities of a premier event space.
- Housed in a building dating back to the 1950s, originally used as a horse stable, Stage 48 has been transformed into a modern entertainment hub while retaining some of its unique historical features.
The Layout
Stage 48 is arranged over three levels, each offering a distinct experience:
- Main Level: This area serves as the heart of Stage 48, featuring a large dance floor and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. It is equipped with an expansive bar and boasts a high ceiling, enhancing the acoustic experience.
- Mezzanine: Overlooking the main floor, the mezzanine provides a VIP experience with its plush seating and private tables. This area offers an excellent view of the stage and dance floor below, making it ideal for those who prefer a more relaxed environment while still being part of the action.
- Rooftop Terrace: The rooftop terrace adds a touch of elegance and an open-air vibe to Stage 48. With stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
