Interieur Queer Edition 2027
- Next Edition: Awaiting dates, July 2027 – Interieur Queer Weekend – a festival of queer culture.
- One of France’s leading queer culture festivals – 1st to 5th July in Lyon, mixing drag, clubbing, voguing, talks, comedy, live performance and community events. Around 50 performers take part across multiple venues.
- Friday is the big party night – “Drag Rendez-Vous & Garçon Sauvage” runs from 6pm to 5am at HEAT/H7. Expect large-scale drag productions, live performances, DJs, clubbing and a mixed crowd ranging from drag artists and creatives to partygoers from across France.
- This year Garçon Sauvage merges with Drag Rendez-Vous for a single mega-event. The lineup includes Bashkka, Mami Watta, Kemetic, Ruby on the Nail, Esther, Maggy Smiss, Reine Mayr, Rico Lo Scopia, Sue Veneers, Magical Tchoin, La Drag, Lili Mirezmoi, Milf Ta Mère and others, combining drag shows, performance art and late-night club sets.
- For most visitors, Friday’s Drag Rendez-Vous & Garçon Sauvage and Saturday’s Ball & Afterball are the two events not to miss.
The Venue
- HEAT/H7 – A huge industrial-style events space in Lyon’s Confluence district, combining a covered food hall, outdoor terrace and large warehouse-style event areas under one roof.
- Former industrial buildings transformed into a 5,000m² innovation and cultural hub with soaring ceilings, exposed steelwork and plenty of open space.
- HEAT is the social heart of the complex – street-food containers, bars, communal tables and a relaxed outdoor courtyard that fills up before major events.
- Located in Confluence, beside the Musée des Confluences and around 15-20 minutes by tram from Vieux Lyon and the main nightlife districts.
Gay Lyon
- The gay center of Lyon is primarily located in the area around Rue des Capucins and Rue de la Ré, which is just a short walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) from the Old Town (Vieux Lyon).
- La Sucre club is situated on the rooftop of the former sugar factory Les Sucrières, across the Saône River from the city center, about a 10-minute taxi ride (around 3-4 km).
