The Parties
Date & Time Event Venue / Notes Saturday 26th December 2026
From 9 pmFesta Black presents XLSIOR Mykonos Edificio Touring, Rio
Manuel Coby, Chris Turina, Will Capitão B2B Urlan, DJ Yohanna, Lucas Lu and John WilberSunday 27th December 2026
From 9 pmFesta Black Pré-NYE Marina da Glória. Open-air party; check the ticket area and entry terms. Thursday 31st December 2026
From 9 pmRéveillon BLK Rio 2027 Marina da Glória. New Year celebration; ticket inclusions vary by category. Venue – Edifício Touring: XLSIOR Mykonos
- Saturday 26th December – Edifício Touring is a restored Art Deco building beside Praça Mauá and the Museu do Amanhã, on Rio’s port waterfront.
- The building combines historic interiors with present-day dining and event spaces. Its architecture gives the opening party a distinctive setting, but Festa Black has not yet identified the exact room or published a floor plan for this edition.
Getting There
- Praça Mauá is in the port district near central Rio, separate from the Ipanema and Copacabana beach areas. Plan a taxi or rideshare from your hotel and use the event entrance specified on your ticket.
- Keep your beach-area hotel if you are attending the full festival. The other two BLK parties take place at Marina da Glória, so a hotel near Touring would solve only Saturday’s journey.
Venue – Marina da Glória
- Hosting events on Sunday 27th and Thursday 31st December
- Marina da Glória is a large waterfront events complex at Avenida Infante Dom Henrique in Glória, beside Parque do Flamengo and near central Rio.
- It has a covered pavilion and a broad outdoor esplanade, with views across Guanabara Bay. The outdoor space features 12,000 m² of space.
Getting to the party
- From Ipanema, allow for a journey of roughly 12 km by road. The Glória metro station serves the district, but it is still a walk from the station to the Marina.
- A taxi or rideshare is the simpler choice for a late finish; New Year traffic and pickup arrangements can change the journey considerably
- Glória sits between Flamengo and central Rio. Its appeal for this weekend is proximity to the two Marina parties, rather than the beach routine most visitors want between events. Stay here if getting back quickly after Pré-NYE and Réveillon is your main concern.
Where to stay
Stay in Ipanema, ideally near Farme de Amoedo or toward Arpoador. You get the beach and gay social scene by day, with a straightforward car journey to the Marina on party nights. Southern Copacabana, near Posto 6, is the next choice: it offers a wider hotel selection and lets you walk to Arpoador and Ipanema.
- Hotel Arpoador: For mornings by the water between parties. Its beachfront position at Arpoador places both Ipanema and Copacabana within walking range.
- Sol Ipanema Hotel: An Ipanema beachfront base near the Farme end of the beach, with a rooftop pool for a quieter afternoon.
- Hotel Fasano Rio de Janeiro: A high-end Ipanema choice with a rooftop pool and sea views, suited to a longer New Year stay.
- Miramar by Windsor Copacabana: A full-service beachfront hotel at the southern end of Copacabana, handy for splitting time between the two beaches.
- Orla Copacabana Hotel: A practical Posto 6 base near Arpoador, with a rooftop terrace and a broad choice of places to eat nearby.
New Year week tips
- Book the full stay early. A hotel booking that ends on Friday 1st January will leave you checking out soon after Réveillon; consider an extra night for sleep and a beach day.
- Treat Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th as consecutive late nights. Leave Sunday daytime free rather than building a packed sightseeing schedule.
- If you want to attend all three events, compare the three-party combo with separate tickets. The ticket listing describes a combo covering XLSIOR, Pré-NYE and Réveillon, with access levels set by the category purchased. ingresse.com
- Plan your New Year dinner before travelling to Marina da Glória. Do not count on food being included without checking your exact ticket category.
- Arrange your route home before leaving the hotel on the 31st. Allow extra time for the New Year crowds and road restrictions, and confirm the venue entrance and pickup point in the final organiser instructions.
- For the night before, Wednesday 30th December works best as a lighter evening in Ipanema or Copacabana. Have dinner, check your ticket and transport details, and keep the next day free for the beach and the party.

Most of Rips gay bars are located in Ipanema and Copacabana. Ipanema’s gayest nightspot is on the beach block of Rua Teixeira de Melo, next to Farme.
Along Copacabana beach there is a traditionally gay-friendly area known as Bolsa, near Lido. Hustlers are pretty much part of the scene, and you should keep a good hold on your wallet
