Europe's gay party scene heats up with the arrival of the XLsior Athens Pride Party, putting the Greek capital at the centre of the continent's party circuit.
The Party
- Next Edition: Saturday 13th June 2026 – ORGIO
- On Saturday night in the middle of June, Athens gay scene is set to be transformed by the team that produces the legendary XLsior festival in Mykonos.
- Expect world class DJs, an amazing stage show, sexy dancers and the hottest guys from across Europe as XLsior brings their signature event to Athens Pride.
- A one-night XLsior takeover bringing the Mykonos circuit energy into Athens Pride weekend.
- The theme leans heavily into ancient Greek mythology and darker erotic visuals rather than the usual beach-club branding.
- Expect a mixed international crowd – Athens locals, Pride visitors and Mykonos regulars testing the waters before August.
- Manuel Coby and Ramusic push this toward driving tribal and progressive circuit sounds rather than commercial pop remixes.
- Party takes over AUX Athens from 11 pm to 6 am.
- Visiting Athens for Pride? Stay in the hip gay district of Gazi, close to the city's active nightlife scene.
The Venue
- AUX Athens – Located in the Gazi-Kerameikos area, inside an old industrial nightlife zone west of central Athens.
- The venue already has credibility in the underground electronic scene, so XLsior choosing it gives this party a rougher, darker edge than a polished VIP-rope venue.
- The club layout is long and warehouse-like rather than open-air glamorous. Low ceilings, heavy lighting rigs and a tight dancefloor create pressure and intensity once full.
- Around 5-8 minutes by taxi or roughly 15 minutes on foot from the core Athens gay nightlife around Gazi and Kerameikos.
- Stay close to the party at the Brown Acropol Athens, a large rooftop hotel with a younger nightlife crowd and late check-out appeal during Pride weekends. Good midway option between central Athens sightseeing and the Gazi club zone. Around 8-10 minutes by taxi to AUX Club depending on traffic.
Gay Athens
- Athen's gay village is located in Gazi. The busiest and best gay venues are found just north of “Kerameikos ” metro station. Many of the bars are centered around the corner of Iera Odos street with Megalou Alexandrou street you'll find many bars. Once inside it's quite entertaining, some nice clubs and bars.
- The city is a year-round destination and so gay venues are less seasonal when compared to other Greek tourist destinations and you will find a nice mix of locals and visitors.

- Head to Kouckles Club for nightly cabaret shows and drag acts
- Moe hosts popular theme nights and happy hours.
- Bequeer is a weekend bar with shows featuring some of Athens most famous drag queens on Friday and Saturday nights.
Club Nights
- Venues and parties pop-up and change rapidly in Athens. What's hot last week is closed the next. Here are two of the longest lasting nights in the city! Look out for flyers in the gay bars and restaurants in Gazi for one off events and parties.
- Sodade 2 – If you like to party late into the night, visit Sodade2, a legendary Gay Club in Athens Open Thursday – Monday, Friday & Saturday 2 stages. Don't moss the crazy Greek tunes on Mondays if you are here in the city for a long weekend.
