Ptown is bear-y spooky for Halloween, with an eclectic schedule of sexy parties, street entertainment and events fit for every kind of zombie, angel, demon, daddy — and bear.
- Provincetown is the fastest selling destination out of 180 cities on our site. Even the off-season Autumn and Winter events have become popular, so please, don’t delay, book your hotel as soon as possible. Several of the parties take place at The Crown and Anchor hotel and entertainment complex.
The Event

- The gay resort at the tip of Cape Cod celebrates its annual Spooky Bear Weekend and balmy temperatures (for October) during the last weekend in October.
- From lumberjacks to Dalmatians, Cub scouts to Care Bears, unicorns to Wonder Women, to a Krispy Kreme man with his own special frosting, the harnesses, singlets, and sexy men are out in force all weekend long.
- Halloween Weekend in Provincetown includes spooky parties, haunted dances, events for families, a haunted house and even a costume ball.

- While many of the town’s businesses host special Halloween parties and events, Spooky Bear has a separate program with official theme nights and gatherings not to be missed:

- Halloween Tea Dance: Kick off the weekend with dancing and socializing at The Boatslip, 4pm.
- Halloween Bar Crawl: Explore various bars in Provincetown, time TBD
Friday
- The Haunted Tea Dance: Dance to spooky tunes at The Boatslip, 4pm.
- Official Spooky Bear Meet and Greet: Get to know fellow attendees at the Crown & Anchor, 6pm.
- Dance Party: Dance the night away at The Crown & Anchor, 9pm-1am.
Saturday
- Spooky Bear Marketplace: Shop various vendors at The Boatslip, 10am-2:30pm.
- Art’s Dune Tours: Explore the dunes, $33 per person – Call Art’s Dune Tours directly, 1pm-3pm.
- Bingo for a Cause!: Fundraiser for the Provincetown Food Pantry at The Crown & Anchor, 2pm-4:30pm.
- Spooky Bear Tea Dance: Continue the weekend festivities with more dancing at The Boatslip, 4pm-9pm.
- Nightmares Costume Ball and Costume Contest: Compete for cash prizes in your best costume at Crown & Anchor, 9pm-1am.
Sunday
- Drag Brunch: Enjoy a spooky-themed brunch at the Crown & Anchor restaurant, 11am and 1pm seatings.
- Solid Gold Tea Dance: End your Spookybear experience with a final dance at the Boatslip Resort, 4pm-7pm.
