The Savannah Pride Festival is a weekend long series of events that celebrate the diversity of LGBT.
Savannah Pride Festival and Parade 2026
Savannah Pride brings the LGBTQ+ community together for a full day of drag, DJs, food, drinks and community celebrations beneath the trees of Forsyth Park.
- Visiting Savannah for Pride? Stay close to the city’s top attractions and gay-friendly venues at the River Street Inn, a 4 star hotel rated “Fabulous” by guests with a range of services to guest including a candy bar, nightly treats made by Savannah’s Candy Kitchen, and guest bicycles. Savannah Pride 2026
- Next Edition: Saturday, 24 Oct, from 12:00 to 23:00.
- Savannah Pride celebrates its 27th edition in 2026.
- Events are held at Forsyth Park, at the southern end of Savannah’s Historic District.
- Entry to the main festival is free.
- Savannah Pride Center organises the event, supporting LGBTQ+ people across Savannah and coastal Georgia.
The Pride Festival
- Savannah Pride takes over the main lawn at Forsyth Park for eleven hours of entertainment, community events and Halloween-season fun.
- The day opens with a neuro-sensitive market designed for guests seeking a calmer festival experience. The main programme features local drag artists, DJs, games, crafts, food trucks, drinks and LGBTQ+ vendors.
- After dark, Pride ends its park programme with a glow and foam party before celebrations move downtown for the official after-party.
Savannah Pride After Party
- Saturday 24th September, – The Official Savannah Pride After Party takes over Club One from 11 pm to 3 am.
- Club One – Multi-level Night club and entertainment venue, famous for dancing, drag shows, and basement video bar.
Wag-O-Ween
- Saturday Oct 24, 2026, 12:00 PM – Sunday Oct 25, 2026, 5:00 PM Downtown & Starland District – Wag-O-Ween brings hundreds of dogs and owners downtown for a weekend of costumes, treats, and photo stops at local businesses. The two-day event turns Savannah’s Historic District into a pet-friendly Halloween parade.
Gay Savannah
- Savannah offers countless queer-friendly establishments and exciting things to do year round.
- Take a stroll through the artistic Starland District where colorful murals line the streets and unique shopping is found on every corner.

- Enjoy a night out in Historic Savannah at Club One where you can watch an entertaining cabaret – with a twist!
- Pay a visit to the Plant Riverside District with great bars and home to the stunning JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. The city is one of the more walkable cities out there and it is highly recommended that you take to your feet and enjoy from down town to the Historic District South and the Forsyth Park area.
Hit the beach
Just 25 minutes from the centre of Savannah you will find charming Tybee Island, known as “Savannah Beach” by many locals. Home to great gay friendly bars and restaurants, the island even hots it’s one pride event know as Equality Fest, complete with a pride parade, drag shows, vip events and parties at the end of September.
