Ring in the new year LA Style
In 1999, Masterbeat ushered in the Millennium with over 4000 people with it’s first New Year’s Eve event – kicking off an annual tradition of the largest New Year’s Eve event in the world that actually rings in the New Year at the party. Our legendary 10 minute countdown to midnight was born, as everyone re-lived the past century in a video montage of memories. Since 1999, Masterbeat New Year’s Eve has grown and moved from Palm Springs to it’s new home in Los Angeles. We’ve taken you around the world, through the 2000’s, saw the world end and rebuilt, taken you through time and new beginnings.
The event takes place in the legendary Mayan Theater, which we will once again transform for New Year’s and our journey with Masterbeat’s signature production values. More sound, lights and lasers along with our original 3d LED walls and spectacular dancers and surprise entertainment from around the world. 10 minutes before midnight, giant screens will descend to display our signature countdown video. Thousands stand entranced by the memories of the year that we compile into 10,000 video clips set to music counting down to the New Year.
The event is part of a 4 day celebration including:
The Night’s Watch
Our epic gathering begins. Thousands descend upon Los Angeles for the opening event of XV: Night’s Watch – as Morabito spins the music for your journey for the last dance of year.
BEYOND The Wall: Afterhours
The party’s not over, it’s just beginning. Go further – go Beyond the Wall, as London’s #1 afterhours returns to Los Angeles and kicks off 2015 with music by DJ Micky Friedmann.
Ice & Fire: Endgame
Your fantasy becomes reality and our famous closing party and the first dance of the new year: Ice & Fire comes to one of LA’s hottest and newest #1 nightclubs, the LA Stock Exchange. The elements collide with music by DJ Brett Henrichsen.
