The Event

- Each year, the city of Marseille celebrates Pride from late June to Early July.
- Pride events include a series of parties, cultural parades, exhibitions and discussions.
- As the second largest city in France, expect some epic events, including the official opening concert, La Friche Belle de Mai.

The Parade
- Saturday, July 6, 2024 – Awaiting confirmation of the official route.
- The parade route typically starts at 2 pm. The parade ends at 6 pm at L’Hôtel de Ville, Marseille’s city hall.
- People gather at Vieux-Port and proceed through central streets.
- Thousands of people participate in the parade along with “Les Chars”, colourful floats and elaborately decorated trucks with DJs, music and sexy guys.
Post Parade Celebrations
- Saturday, July 6, 2024 – From 6 pm at L’Hôtel de ville
- Festivities continue as the parade arrives at the City Hall.
- Events run until 9 pm with concerts and performances.

Official Pride Party
- Saturday, July 6, 2024 – Friche Belle de Mai, From 11 pm – At La Cartonnerie.

- The venue has been transformed into a centre for contemporary art, performance, music and events.
- Complete with outdoor and rooftop terrace located in the 3rd Arrondissement.
- Take the Tram Line T2 or the Metro M1 (Cinq Avenues stop – Longchamp), followed by a 15-minute walk.
Gay Marseille
- Marseille is divided into 16 municipal arrondissements. Popular Districts include Vieux-Port, the Historic port and cultural hub and Le Panier, the Old town with charming streets.
- Le Cours Julien (6th Arrondissement) is a neighbourhood known for its vibrant nightlife, street art, and LGBTQ+-friendly bars and cafes.
- La Plaine & La Belle de Mai is a trendy district with a more diverse vibe and worth visiting.
