Helsinki Gay Pride is celebrated across the city through a week long series of cultural events, parties, demonstrations and exhibitions.
Helsinki Pride Pride week is a full of rainbow colored program; there are lectures on current topics, discussions, sunny picnics, workshops, art and culture and of course several awesome parties which continue until the late morning. Other events include Youth Pride (Nuorten Pride) for participants aged 13-25 years.

The Helsinki Pride Parade
- Saturday 29th June 2024 – Helsinki Pride culminates on Saturday with the Pride Parade.
- The Helsinki Gay Pride Parade will kick off at 1pm for Senate Square, and travel through the city streets, before ending in Kaivopuisto Park where the main party begins.
- The parade attracts more than 100,000 visitors.
- The city fills up fast so book your hotel well in advance.
- Stay downtown close to all the parties, parades, events and fun.
“Puistojuhla”, The Helsinki Pride After Party
- After the main parade, the party continues at Kaivopuisto Park with live stages, food trucks, fun and dancing with drag shows, DJs and more. A great way to close off the pride celebrations.
- The park is a 30 minute walk (10 minute drive) from downtown Helsinki.

- Mon 24th to Sun 30th June – A series of concerts, cultural events and exhibitions take place in the lead up to the event.

- Most of the gay establishments are downtown, and most are within walking distance of each other.
- The biggest gay clubs are dtm and Hercules . Hercules attracts older guys while dtm audience is younger and more mixed.
- Other popular gay bars in the city centre are Manstreet and Room Bulevard.
