A colourful pride festival in the home of Oscar Wilde!
This small but fun gay pride set in Dublin, the capital city of the Republic of Ireland, sees about 10,000 people attend the parade that runs thought the centre of the city. The city centre itself is quite small and all the gay bars and clubs are within easy walking distance of each other.
With this being a 9 day event you will have a little time to do a bit of exploring, don’t forget to take a look at Grafton Street with all its shops and Dublin Castle. Highlights include the Glitter Bomb and Plastic parties at The George and The Dragon bars respectively as well as the Matinee Party on the night of the parade, Saturday night.
The after-parade-party in Merrion Square is one event not to be missed complete with concerts and live entertainment.
The two famous gay bars in Dublin are The George on South Great Georges Street and The Front Lounge on Parliament Street, both right in the heart of the city,
Here are the hotels we recommend that have good reviews and keep you close to all the action
