Frankfurt Gay pride or Christopher Street day is always a fun weekend and features a colourful parade with around 40 floats, a full cultural program and some great after parties.

Frankfurt Pride Weekend
- Next Edition: Thursday 15th July, 2027 – Sunday 18th July, 2027.
- Frankfurt Pride, known locally as CSD Frankfurt, brings four days of live shows, political debate, DJ sets, community events and a major Pride demonstration to the heart of the city.

Frankfurt Pride Parade
- The parade takes place on the Saturday 17th July, 2027 with thousands of spectators taking to the streets of Frankfurt. The event, while still quite political, is fun and friendly and manages to combine the best of pride, delivering important messages but also celebrating diversity and independence.
- The demonstration begins on Saturday at 11 am from Römerberg and Braubachstraße before travelling through central Frankfurt.
- Route – Roßmarkt, Goetheplatz, Neue Mainzer Straße, Eschenheimer Turm, Konrad-Adenauer-Straße and Kurt-Schumacher-Straße.
- The demonstration crosses the River Main via the Alte Brücke before finishing beside the Pride festival on the Main riverbank.
- Stay close to all the pride events at the Marriott Frankfurt, featuring spacious rooms, a luxurious pool and spa and superb city views.
Best Places to watch the Parade
- Römerberg is one of the best places to watch the opening rally and departure.
- Neue Mainzer Straße offers wide views of the parade against Frankfurt’s banking district, with the riverside finish providing easy access to the street festival.
- Stay close to the start of the pride parade. Frankfurt has some great hotel options located just steps from the Pride events.
Frankfurt Pride Street Festival
- Thursday to Sunday – Frankfurt CSD street festival takes place along the Mainkai, the riverside promenade beside Frankfurt’s historic centre.
- Opening times vary – Thursday: 5 pm to midnight Friday: 4 pm to 1 am Saturday: midday to 1 am Sunday: 1 pm to 11 pm
- The main festival zone runs along the northern bank of the River Main between the Eiserner Steg and Untermainbrücke, a five-minute walk from Römerberg.
- Expect a main stage with live acts, political discussions and DJ sets, together with food and drink stands from Frankfurt’s queer bars and community organisations.
- The festival location offers views across the river towards Sachsenhausen and the Museumsufer, with the Frankfurt skyline rising behind the old town.
Cultural Program and Shopping
- Friday to Sunday – The Bazaar of Diversity is the community and information area of Frankfurt CSD.
- It takes place along the Mainkai, beginning opposite the Historisches Museum and continuing west towards Untermainbrücke and St. Leonhard Church.
- Visitors can meet local LGBTQ+ groups, charities, sports organisations, community projects and Pride vendors. The route passes the festival’s art and culture stage.

With international and local acts keeping you entertained at the main stage, and all the gay bars and clubs putting on parties over the pride weekend, you will never run out of things to do.
- Enjoy the Open Air Cinema on the Thursday before the pride weekend at the Konstablerwacheand from 6 pm.
- an evening closing part at the Yacht Club on Sunday from 9pm.
- Grind Frankfurt XXL Edition – One of Frankfurt’s leading party promoters hosts a special edition of their regular circuit event.
- Delicious at Gibson Club hosts a Saturday night event
- Metropol Sauna is open 24 hours with a Foam Party on Friday at 10pm and Saturday at 5pm with Guest DJs.
- Pure hosts several theme parties, plus a super-cool rooftop pool party with Hollywood Tramp.
Getting to CSD Frankfurt
- Christopher Street Day is not far from public transport. The S-Bahn takes visitors directly to Konstablerwache, and the U4 and U5 also stop here. With the tram you can go directly to Community Fest with line 11, line 12 goes to the Börneplatz stop, from where it only takes a three-minute walk.
- If you want to travel by car, you can park your car in the “Konstabler”, “Konrad-Adenauer-Straße” and “Amgericht” multi-storey car parks. The parking garages are open all night.
