The Venue
- Vivo Rio is a concert hall located in Aterro do Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro. The site is attached to the Museu de Arte Moderna.
- The Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro (MAM Rio) is a museum. It’s dedicated to modern art and is one of the most important cultural institutions in the country.
- The museum is set in a modernist building, surrounded by a beautiful garden designed by the famous landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx.
- MAM is located in the Flamengo neighbourhood, which is north of Ipanema. Depending on traffic, it could take anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour by car.
- From Ipanema, you can take a taxi or use ridesharing apps. Alternatively, there’s public transportation like buses or the metro, where you’d use Line 1 from Ipanema and transfer to Line 2 to get closer to the Flamengo area, then walk or take a short cab ride to MAM.
