From 6 amGreenKomm St. Nicholas Club Nachtflug, Hohenzollernring 89-93 Friday 1st January 2027 GreenKomm New Year Club Nachtflug – Official ticket release awaiting confirmation What to Expect
- Green Komm is a true after-hours party rather than a conventional Sunday club night.
- Many guests arrive after partying through Saturday night, with the dance floor building again during the early morning and continuing well into Sunday.
- The music centres on progressive house and trance, with a harder and more driving sound than Cologne’s pop-focused gay bars.
- Expect an international crowd during the larger editions, particularly New Year, Carnival, Easter and Cologne Pride.
The Venue – Club Nachtflug
- Club Nachtflug is at Hohenzollernring 89-93, close to Friesenplatz in central Cologne.
- The club combines a large main dance floor with powerful sound and lighting, backed by lounge areas where you can escape the busiest part of the party.
- Its location works particularly well for Green Komm. Friesenplatz, the Belgian Quarter and the gay bars around Schaafenstraße are all nearby.
- Before Green Komm
Start Saturday night around Schaafenstraße, the centre of Cologne’s main gay nightlife district.
- ExCorner – Schaafenstraße 57-59. Long-running gay bar with pop, Schlager and a busy late-night crowd.
- Die Mumu – Schaafenstraße 51. Colourful gay bar with pop music, drinks and a younger weekend crowd.
- Exile on Main Street – Schaafenstraße 61A. Gay bar and club on the same strip, useful for keeping the night going before Green Komm.
- Iron Cocktail Lounge – Schaafenstraße 45. LGBTQ+ cocktail bar with a slightly more polished atmosphere than the surrounding party bars.
- Schampanja – Mauritiuswall 43. Long-running gay bar close to Schaafenstraße and a popular late-night stop.
From Schaafenstraße, Club Nachtflug is close by when it’s time to move on to Green Komm.
After Green Komm
If you still have energy when Green Komm finishes, Bathhouse Babylon Cologne on Friesenstraße is close to Nachtflug.
Later in the day, head back towards Schaafenstraße as the neighbourhood bars begin opening for Sunday evening.
