The Party
- Next Edition: Tuesday, November 10, 2026 – Special edition with Vendom, held on the eve of the public holiday.
- FLASH has been part of Brussels’ LGBTQ+ nightlife since 2012, hosting regular Sunday nights and special editions before public holidays.
- The party has moved to a new home at UMI, with a refreshed format and two different music spaces.
- Expect a young, friendly LGBTQ+ crowd, drag performances, guest DJs and themed editions.
- Music moves between pop and hyperpop, Latin, electro and house depending on the room and edition.
- Parties typically run from 11pm to 6am
- FLASH hosts larger editions for Pride, holidays and special weekends throughout the year.
The Venue – UMI
- FLASH has moved to UMI, at 10 Rue du Marché aux Fromages in the historic centre of Brussels.
- The club is just steps from Grand Place and close to the bars and cafés around Saint-Jacques, making it an easy party to reach if you are staying in central Brussels.
- UMI offers two distinct spaces. The Main Room carries the bigger FLASH sound, mixing pop, hyperpop, Latin and commercial club tracks. The second room moves towards electronic sounds and provides a change of pace from the main dance floor.
- The venue has a cloakroom, lockers, smoking area and a Secret Room.
Before the Party
Start around Rue du Marché au Charbon, the centre of Brussels’ gay bar scene, then head to UMI for FLASH.
- Café Charbon – Café, wine bar and bistro with terrace seating. Start here for food and a glass of wine before moving to the gay bars nearby.
- La Réserve – Small, traditional gay bar near Grand Place, with Belgian beers, old-fashioned décor and an easy atmosphere for conversation. A sociable stop before the louder part of the night.
- Stammbar – Gay cruising bar with a more sexually charged atmosphere and themed fetish nights. Check the evening’s dress rules before arriving; its regular Tuesday opening is 21:00.
Gay Brussels
- Most of Brussels’ gay bars are concentrated around Rue du Marché au Charbon in the Saint-Jacques district, just behind Grand Place.
- The move to UMI puts FLASH much closer to the gay district, making it easy to start your evening with drinks around Saint-Jacques before walking to the party.

Other Editions
- May 2027 – Flash hosts the Official Pride After Party during the annual Brussels Pride celebrations in May.

- Warwick Brussels Grand-Place – Four-star choice on Rue Duquesnoy, close to Brussels Central Station and a short walk from UMI. Very Gay Friendly.
- Hotel Agora Brussels Grand Place – Small hotel in a listed 17th-century building, almost on the party’s doorstep. Best for travellers who value location and historic character.
- Hotel Fleur de Ville – Opened in 2024 in a former bank, with high ceilings, king-size beds and historic setting with plenty of character; air conditioning and spacious bathrooms deliver the comfort.
