Flash Ibiza! Break down the walls; everyone is welcome, gay, straight, boy, girl, don’t knows, don’t care!, Be yourself, don’t be anybody else.
- Set in the rural hills outside San Antonio, Pikes is a hotel and party venue, poolside bar and restaurant with a juicy history.
The Party
- Next Edition: Awaiting dates – Flash returns in May 2027, with parties running until late October. Individual dates, themes and lineups to be confirmed.
- Flash brings gay men, queer clubbers, island residents and visitors together at Pikes Ibiza for intimate nights of disco, Balearic sounds and underground house.
- DJs play a mix of deep house, jackin’ house and acid, with the musical direction shaped by each night’s guests.
- Come for the records and stay for the company. Socialising around Pikes is part of the appeal before the action moves into Freddies.
- Dress with personality: retro disco looks, colourful shirts and eccentric clubwear fit Flash’s playful spirit.
- Expect a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd, bringing together island regulars and first-time visitors with a shared appetite for music and late nights.
- Guest DJs, hosts, opening times and entry arrangements will be announced for each edition.
The Venue – Pikes Ibiza
Pikes Ibiza is one of the island’s most celebrated hotels and party venues, hidden in the countryside just outside San Antonio.
Founded by Tony Pike in the 1970s, the property became a favourite retreat for musicians and international celebrities. Its swimming pool appeared in Wham!’s Club Tropicana video, and Freddie Mercury famously celebrated his 41st birthday here.
Today, Pikes combines an eccentric boutique hotel with intimate bars, tropical gardens, restaurants and a nightclub that retains the atmosphere of a private house party.
- The Party Spaces
- Poolside: Flash begins with a relaxed Balearic soundtrack, classic disco and funk, with guests gathering around the hotel’s famous swimming pool.
- Sunset Terrace: An outdoor space for drinks and conversation, offering a change of pace before the late-night sessions.
- Freddies: The heart of the party, named after Freddie Mercury. This intimate nightclub features low ceilings, a compact dance floor and colourful lighting. DJs build the energy with deep house, acid house and tougher underground sounds.
The different spaces allow the evening to develop naturally, from relaxed drinks in the open air to a high-energy club session.
Before the Party – San Antonio Sunset Strip
Spend the late afternoon on San Antonio’s famous Sunset Strip, where bars overlook the Mediterranean and DJs provide the soundtrack as the sun sets.
- Café Mambo – A San Antonio institution known for its sunset DJ sessions, cocktails and front-row sea views. A classic starting point before a night at Pikes.
- Café del Mar – The original Ibiza sunset bar, famous for its chill-out compilations and relaxed waterfront atmosphere.
- Hostal La Torre – A clifftop restaurant and bar just outside town, with Balearic music, Mediterranean dining and spectacular sunset views.
- Golden Buddha Ibiza – A casual waterfront restaurant and lounge with outdoor seating, cocktails and a laid-back atmosphere.
For dinner, explore the restaurants around San Antonio’s marina or book a table overlooking the coast before heading to Pikes.
Where to Stay in San Antonio
- San Antonio is the most convenient base for Flash, with easy access to Pikes, the Sunset Strip and the beaches along Ibiza’s west coast.
- Stay near the marina for restaurants and nightlife, or choose Cala Gració for quieter surroundings, beach access and more luxurious accommodation.
- Pikes Ibiza – Our top choice for the full Flash experience. Stay at the party venue itself, with individually decorated rooms, a famous outdoor pool, gardens and an eccentric rock-and-roll atmosphere. Ideal for guests who want to enjoy the evening without arranging transport home.
- OKU Ibiza – A sophisticated five-star hotel near Cala Gració with minimalist interiors, two swimming pools, a spa and excellent dining options. Its relaxed poolside atmosphere and contemporary design make it a favourite for stylish couples and friends visiting the island.
- TRS Ibiza Hotel – Adults Only – A luxurious beachfront resort overlooking Cala Gració, with all-inclusive dining, several swimming pools, a rooftop lounge and a full-service spa. Best for guests combining the closing party with a few days of relaxation.
- Hotel Sa Clau by Mambo – A contemporary boutique hotel overlooking San Antonio’s waterfront, close to the marina and Sunset Strip. Modern rooms, some with sea views, and a central location make it ideal for visitors who want restaurants and bars within walking distance.
