Garçons Budapest – House Call  2026

Garçons Budapest is a gay party for fashion junkies, posers, models, art-heads and other freaks. Underground as well as glamorous, Garçons promises a new era in chic clubbing.

  • Visiting Budapest for this event? Stay at the Barceló Budapest, situated in the heart of the city and close to all the gay bars and clubs.

The Party

  • Next Edition: Awaiting dates – from 23:00 to 05:00.
  • Garçons returns to Akvárium Klub with House Call, a house-led edition featuring Daniel Dash, fresh remixes and familiar club anthems rebuilt around deeper basslines.
  • House Call introduces the House of Garçons sound, putting house music at the centre of the night, with recognisable melodies, punchy bass and remixed club favourites.
  • Daniel Dash takes charge of the decks, keeping the music moving through to the early hours.
  • This edition brings Garçons back to Akvárium, placing the party right in central Pest, within easy reach of restaurants, bars and late-night transport.
  • Stay close to the party at the stylish Stories Boutique Hotel on Király utca, just a 7-minute walk away.

The Venue

  • Akvárium Klub – Erzsébet tér 12, Budapest 1051, in the centre of Pest.
  • The club’s event spaces form part of a larger music and nightlife complex, with bars, a restaurant and a cloakroom.
  • Garçons has hosted previous XXL editions in its Main Hall.
  • Deák Ferenc tér, the main public square and primary transportation hub in the heart of Budapest, is close by, making the venue a practical meeting point for a night out and an easy destination from other central neighbourhoods

Before the Party

  • Begin your night at Why Not Café & Bar, Belgrád rakpart 3-4, for drinks with a local gay crowd. Its riverside setting and male regulars, many in their 30s, make it a good choice for a sociable start to the evening. Cocktails, draught beer and light bites keep things straightforward.
  • Aim for around 21:00 to leave time for a couple of drinks before Garçons.
  • Allow roughly 20-25 minutes to walk to Akvárium, or take a short taxi ride. These are approximate journey times.
  • Prefer dinner close to the club? Eat around the western end of Király utca, then head towards Erzsébet tér. This keeps the evening compact and saves a cross-city transfer before the party.

Where to Stay

These three put you within walking distance of Akvárium. Walking times are approximate.

  • Barceló Budapest – The practical party-weekend choice, on Király utca beside the restaurant and bar streets around Gozsdu. Around 7-10 minutes on foot to Akvárium, with plenty of places to eat before heading out. Choose it if nightlife is the main reason for your visit.
  • Hotel Moments Budapest – On Andrássy Avenue, around 8-10 minutes from the club. Stylish rooms, wellness facilities and a location near the Basilica make this a strong choice for combining Garçons with a proper city break. booking.com
  • Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest – The luxury option on Erzsébet tér, just a few minutes from Akvárium. The shortest journey home of the three, with a spa for the following day. Choose it for comfort and convenience after a late finish.

Map of Budapest

This “Paris of the East” has long been known as a gay center of Eastern Europe, but things have really taken off since reintegration with the West. There is no single gay neighborhood, but most gay-popular bars and clubs can be found in Pest in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th districts, many within walking distance of one another. Defining lines aren’t drawn as sharply here as in the West – except at men’s saunas or cruise bars – and people mix more.

Széchenyi István tér 5, 1051 Hungary

All rooms and spacious suites offer iPod Docking Station, satellite TV, wired and wireless internet connection and marble-covered bathrooms with a spacious bath or a shower cabin. Most of the suites are provided with a further guest bathroom and some of the rooms also feature a step-out balcony with panoramic views of the Danube River and the Castle Hill.
