Connect Vienna is produced by Andi Mik, organiser of Replay, the longest running party in Vienna.
CoNNect brings Vienna’s gay club crowd together for a night of house and techno, with resident DJ Andi Mik and international guests behind the decks. Created by the producer of REPLAY, the party offers a more intimate alternative to Vienna’s larger circuit productions, attracting local regulars and visiting gay men who prefer underground dance music.
Stay at Boutiquehotel Das Tyrol, an elegant design hotel opposite the MuseumsQuartier, close to the gay bars around Naschmarkt and within easy reach of the city centre.

What to Expect
CoNNect is built around the music, bringing together dancers who enjoy the harder, more underground side of Vienna’s gay nightlife.
- Resident DJ Andi Mik provides the musical identity, drawing on his experience producing Vienna’s long-running REPLAY parties.
- Guest DJ Leomeo joins the November edition, adding an international influence to the lineup.
- Expect house and techno rather than a predominantly commercial pop soundtrack.
- The relatively intimate club setting makes it easier to meet other guests, whether arriving with friends or exploring Vienna’s gay scene alone.
Unlike the city’s large-scale circuit events, CoNNect places the emphasis on the DJs and dance floor rather than elaborate stage productions.
The Venue – Kruger Club
Kruger Club is a nightclub in central Vienna, within walking distance of the State Opera, Kärntner Straße and Stephansplatz.
- Address: Krugerstraße 8, 1010 Vienna.
- The club provides a central dance floor, bar facilities and professional sound and lighting.
- Its first-district location makes it convenient for visitors staying around the Opera, Karlsplatz or the historic centre.
- Karlsplatz and Stephansplatz are useful nearby U-Bahn stations.

Before the Party – Gay Vienna
Vienna’s principal gay nightlife area is around Naschmarkt, particularly the streets of Mariahilf and Wieden. Several established bars are within walking distance of Kettenbrückengasse station, making this a convenient area for drinks before travelling to CoNNect.
For visitors who prefer to stay closer to the party, the historic centre also has a small gay nightlife cluster around Tiefer Graben.
- Village Bar – Stiegengasse 8, Mariahilf. A compact gay music bar with video screens, cocktails and a sociable crowd. One of the best places to meet other guys before heading to a club.
- The Hive – Magdalenenstraße 2, Mariahilf. A neighbourhood gay bar serving drinks and food, with a separate club area hosting themed events. Particularly useful for an early evening gathering.
- Eagle Vienna – Blümelgasse 1, Mariahilf. A traditional gay men’s cellar bar with a cruising labyrinth and a mixed-age crowd. Best for visitors who enjoy a more masculine atmosphere.
- Pride & Pleasure – Schikanedergasse 5, Wieden. A newer LGBTQ+ bar that opened in September 2026, offering another option close to Naschmarkt.
- City Bar Vienna – Tiefer Graben 19, Innere Stadt. A small LGBTQ+-friendly cocktail bar with music and a relaxed atmosphere. A convenient choice for visitors staying in the first district.
- Raymond’s – Stumpergasse 2A, Mariahilf. A neighbourhood café-bar with a gay-friendly crowd, suited to a quieter drink before the late-night parties.
Our recommendation: Begin at Village Bar or The Hive for the classic Naschmarkt gay scene. If you prefer to stay near Kruger Club, City Bar is a more convenient starting point.
Where to Stay
For CoNNect, the first district offers the shortest journey home, while Mariahilf and Wieden provide easier access to Vienna’s established gay bars.
- The Guesthouse Vienna – Best for the party location. A sophisticated boutique hotel beside the Albertina Museum, with beautifully designed rooms and a brasserie. An excellent choice for visitors who want to explore the historic centre on foot.
- Hotel Kaiserhof Wien – Best for a quieter stay. A traditional upscale hotel on a peaceful street in Wieden, near Karlsplatz and within walking distance of the Opera and Naschmarkt.
- The Cloud One Wien-Staatsoper – Best for convenience. A contemporary hotel near the State Opera, with modern rooms and excellent public transport connections. Particularly practical for a short party weekend.
- Hotel Schani Salon – Best for shopping and gay nightlife. A modern boutique hotel on Mariahilfer Straße, close to MuseumsQuartier, the Naschmarkt neighbourhood and the U3 metro.
