- Gibus Club – Menergy’s home near Place de la République reopened in September 2026 after several weeks of major renovation. The club describes a fully modernised venue with a refreshed interior and atmosphere.
- The layout offers several distinct spaces, a VIP area and a dedicated smoking room, giving guests places to move between during the night. The club retains its focus on gay nightlife, with the music and crowd at the centre of the experience.
- Located at 18 Rue du Faubourg du Temple in the 11th arrondissement, a short walk from République. It makes a convenient next stop after drinks in Le Marais, Paris’s gay district.
Getting There
- Take Métro lines 3, 5, 8, 9 or 11 to République and use Exit 4 – Rue du Faubourg du Temple.
- Walk straight along the street for about two minutes; the entrance is inside the courtyard at number 18.
- Located in the 11th arrondissement, between République, Oberkampf and Canal Saint-Martin, an area packed with late-night bars, cafés and restaurants.
- The northern edge of Le Marais, Paris’s main gay district, is around a 10-minute walk away.
- A taxi from central Le Marais normally takes 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
Where to Go Before the Party
- One Way – 28 Rue Charlot. Old-school gay bar attracting bears, leather men and mature regulars. Set in the northern Marais, a convenient starting point before heading towards Gibus.
- Bears’ Den – 6 Rue des Lombards. Join a sociable crowd of bears, cubs and admirers. Fun for meeting locals and fellow visitors over a beer before the main party.
- Jules & Jim Cocktail Bar – 11 Rue des Gravilliers. Enjoy creative cocktails, sharing plates and a hidden courtyard. Open to visitors daily from 5 pm to 11 pm, with an explicit LGBTQ+ vibe.
Where to Stay
Stay in Le Marais for gay bars, independent shops and restaurants. The northern part of the district offers a useful balance between evenings in the gay quarter and getting to Gibus Club, near République.

- Hôtel Jules & Jim – A small design hotel in the northern gay district, with 23 rooms, contemporary architecture and a secluded courtyard cocktail bar. Choose it for a boutique stay that works for both the party and exploring Paris. The hotel explicitly welcomes LGBTQ+ guests

Menergy- Fort Romeau Gibus Club, Paris
Paris, the City of Love, flaunts its vibrant gay scene with panache and elegance. Nestled amidst the historic boulevards and charming bistros, the gay bars, clubs, and cafes offer a blend of classic French culture and Romance, no more so than in Le Marais, the city’s primary gay neighbourhood, while the popular 10th and 11th arrondissements are just a 10 to 15 minute walk away.
Less touristy than Le Marais, the 11th is known for its eclectic hipster mix of bars and music venues.
Emerging hotspot for the LGBTQ+ community with a more laid-back feel; home to the scenic Canal Saint-Martin.
