Cape Town Pride Program 2027
- Next Edition – Friday 5th February to Sunday 28th February 2027.
- Cape Town Pride has a distinctly local feel, mixing big-city Pride energy with the easy-going outdoor lifestyle the city is famous for.
- The programme builds across February rather than concentrating everything into one weekend, giving visitors plenty of reasons to make Pride part of a longer Cape Town trip.
- Featuring a fun mix of nightlife, culture and community events, from drag and queer arts to sports, social gatherings, pool parties and late-night events.
- The collaboration with Cape Town Carnival adds some serious spectacle, with elaborate costumes and performers joining the celebrations.
- What makes it worth the trip is the combination: Pride events by day, De Waterkant’s gay bars at night, and beaches, restaurants, wineries and iconic Cape Town attractions within easy reach.
- February is summer in Cape Town too, making Pride a great excuse to combine the festival with a proper South African holiday.
- Stay close to the pride festival and after party at the O’Two Hotel Cape Town, with a beautiful heated deck rooftop pool, superb views and boutique design.
