What to Expect
- HAIR RAISER takes the familiar Halloween party and gives it a queer fashion makeover.
- The emphasis is on outrageous hair, exaggerated silhouettes and costumes inspired by classic horror characters.
- Rather than a traditional circuit party, expect a mix of house, electronic dance music, drag culture and alternative club sounds, attracting a diverse crowd of LGBTQ+ locals, expats and international visitors.
The Lineup
- Gottmik – The groundbreaking drag performer and makeup artist from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 and All Stars 9 headlines the night with a DJ set.
- Jimi The Kween – Representing POOF DOOF Australia, Jimi hosts the party and joins the DJ programme.
- C2AC b2b Lilith Blaque – A back-to-back DJ set bringing Singapore’s underground club sound to the dance floor.
- 32, Phlegm and Xervixia – Three drag performers delivering the evening’s Halloween entertainment.
Dress Code – Hair-Raising Horror
- The theme is deliberately playful, inviting guests to reinterpret their favourite horror characters through outrageous hairstyles.
- Think Pinhead with a perm, Medusa with a crown of snakes, Bride of Frankenstein hair, Beetlejuice-inspired wigs or a towering sci-fi beehive.
- The bigger and stranger the hairstyle, the better.
The Venue – MDLR Singapore
- MDLR is an underground music and event space operated by Singapore nightlife collective Thugshop.
- Located on the second floor at 62 Cecil Street, the venue occupies a commercial building in Singapore’s Central Business District, close to Telok Ayer and Raffles Place.
- Unlike a conventional gay nightclub, MDLR is a flexible event space used for electronic music parties, DJ showcases and independent productions.
Inside MDLR
- The venue has an industrial, stripped-back aesthetic, allowing promoters to transform the room for different events.
- Its main dance floor is arranged around the DJ performance area, with lighting and sound designed for electronic music.
- The relatively intimate layout keeps guests close to the performers, making it particularly suitable for drag appearances and DJ-led club nights.
- For HAIR RAISER, expect the production to incorporate horror-inspired visuals and decorations.

- From Tanjong Pagar: Approximately 10-15 minutes on foot.
