The Vienna Gay Pride has become one of the fastest growing prides in Europe complete with concerts, a gay village and a gay beach!
Vienna Pride is one of the most colourful pride events in Europe featuring a festive gay village, huge circuit parties, camp Viennese balls, several cultural events all wrapped up with a fun, friendly and vibrant gay scene.

Vienna Pride
- Next Edition – Awaiting dates – Typically held over the first two weeks of June.
- Vienna Pride runs from the 1st of the month with a series of cultural activities and exhibitions. Events culminate on the final weekend with a gay village, several circuit parties and the main parade.

Vienna Pride Parade 2026
- The Final Saturday – Awaiting dates – The highlight of Vienna Pride is the Rainbow Parade or Regenbogenparade on Saturday. On trailers, motorbikes, in carriages or on foot: gays, lesbians, drag queens, leather boys, transgenders and many more celebrate at the Rainbow Parade and send out a signal against discrimination.
- Vienna’s famous Ringstrasse is closed off to traffic as the Rainbow Parade makes its way around the entire ring road, starting at 2.00 pm (start and end: City Hall Square). More than 100,000 visitors attend the parade each year.
- The route is as follows: Starting at Rathausplatz and following the Ringstraße against the direction of traffic, passing by the Parliament, Heldenplatz, the State Opera, and other landmarks before returning to Rathausplatz.
- Vienna’s Pride parade begins at noon and ends back at City hall at 4 pm.

Pride Garden After Party
- Saturday – Awaiting dates – The stunning Manner in Garten outdoor party returns for a special Pride themed event on Saturday night from 11, taking over the beautiful Volksgarten Pavilion with guest DJs, shows, drag queens ad lots of pop hits and chart music!
Vienna Pride Circuit Parties
- Those who want to continue partying afterward will also be superbly looked after: Numerous parties at different locations will turn night into day from Saturday to Sunday.
- Saturday – Awaiting dates – Circus presents a unique themed event with guest DJs in one of the city’s biggest gay clubs, Prater Dome.
- Saturday – Awaiting dates – KEN Club hosts “A Pride Special Event” at fluc + fluc wanne.
- Saturday – Awaiting dates – Astronaughty is one of Vienna’s most popular bi-weekly events and hosts a special pride edition each year with a different theme, guest DJs and drag acts.
Vienna Pride Rainbow Tours
- The traditional Rainbow tours on the history of homosexuality will be held again at the University of Vienna on Friday. The tour will be held in German at 4.00 pm and in English at 6.00 pm.
Gay Vienna
- Naschmarkt is Vienna’s gay neighbourhood on the banks of the Wien River. The district is close to the beautiful Museums Quarter. Several gay bars and cafes are found close to Naschmarkt, a busy fresh fruit and vegetable market dating back to the 16th century. including the world famous Café Savoy
- The lion’s share of gay bars and clubs is situated near the Villa, in the district along Linke Wienzeile and Rechte Wienzeile.
- The Boutiquehotel Das Tyrol is just seconds from the gay bars and clubs and has a private spa, great staff and excellent decor.
- Just a short walk from Naschmarkt, Gumpendorferstraße (Gumpendorf Street), is home to lively gay and gay friendly restaurants and bars. Meanwhile the area around Linke Weinzeile, just down the river from Naschmarkt, is the traditional home of the historic gay district. Here you will still find many of the city’s older gay establishments.
