Stockholm Bear Pride 2026

Stockholm Bear Pride is the one of the biggest bear events to take place in Scandinavia attracting bears from all over the region and beyond and takes place in parallel to the annual Stockholm Pride parade.

  • Next Edition: Awaiting dates – Typically Thursday to Sunday in early August.
  • Each year, Viking Bears hosts some of the biggest bear parties and events during the height of the Summer season in Stockholm, attracting more visitors with a popular mix of friendly day parties and fun night time events.
  • Highlights include the Stockholm Bear Pride Pub Crawl and meet up, the official Bear Party, and the Bear Pride Parade.
  • Guests can take your place on the official bear pride float and enjoy one of the most colorful pride parades in the region.
  • Stockholm Bear Pride also plays host to the annual Mr Bear Sweden competition attracting some very hot bears and cubs from across the country.
  • The final day of Stockholm Bear Pride celebrates with a bear picnic, bath and sauna! These parties are especially popular.

The Schedule

  • Events kick off with the Welcome Pub Night on Thursday at Time Bar.
  • On Friday enjoy a theme party from 8 pm 'till late with guest DJs, bear gogos and hot hairy guys!
  • Join the bears from noon at Norr Malarstrand for the Main Parade.
  • Followed on Sunday afternoon from 11 am at Agestabadet for the Beach and Picnic day.

Popular Gay Bars in Stockholm

  • Side Track – Gay bar located near the Mariatorget district and, while not exclusively bear-focused, attracts a mixed crowd which includes bears, especially on weekends.
  • Time Bar – Located in the trendy Hornstull area with everyday afterwork prices from 15-19 and the party goes on with Dj’s until 03 in the weekends.
  • SLM Stockholm (Scandinavian Leather Men Stockholm) – Although not strictly a bear club, SLM attracts leather, fetish, and bearish men. It’s members-only, but tourists can often gain entry if they are members of similar clubs in other cities.
  • Patricia – The Patricia boat is a floating bar and club that has different club nights. The Sunday evening gay party is known to attract a more mature and sometimes bearish crowd.
