Philly Pride Parade and Festival 2021
Held every year in June during National Gay Pride Month, Philadelphia LGBT Pride Parade and Festival brings more than 25,000 participators to the city for a march down Broad Street.
Leading up to the blockbuster main event festival at Penn’s Landing is the parade. It leaves from the heart of the Gayborhood (Locust Street between 12th and 13th streets) and from there, winds through Midtown Village and Old City— past a judge’s stand at 6th and Market streets — to the concluding festival grounds at Penn’s Landing.
There are several different locations along the route where entertainers perform. Then, at the Plaza, performers and some 160 vendors gather to present the Annual Philadelphia Gay Pride Festival
The parade culminates at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, where guests will find areas for dancing, all-ages fun, vendors and much more. Food trucks and cold beverages will be available for purchase, too.
Leading up to the Sunday festival, an entire weekend of fun awaits. On the Friday evening beforehand, a Pride kickoff party goes down at 12th and Locust streets. Here, guests can find food, drinks and various entertainment as well as discounted wristbands for the Sunday’s main festival event.
