Oklahoma has not one, but two gay pride festivals and a vibrant and diverse nightlife with great bars, clubs and dining. Come discover the city in June!

The Pride Festival
- Next Edition: Friday 26th June, 2026 – Sunday 28th June, 2026.
- The OKC Pride Festival is held in Scissortail Park in the downtown district of Oklahoma City on 300 SW 7th Street. Events kick off each day from 10am.
- Staying near the NW 39th Street district / Plaza District puts you within social Peña-led LGBTQ nightlife and the Pride On 39th block party zone.
- The very best of local and national drag acts, djs and liver performances will take place on the main stage in the park each day.
The Venue
- Scissortail Park is a 40-acre urban oasis extending from the core of downtown Oklahoma City to the shore of the Oklahoma River, complete with a tranquil lake and nature walks.
- The Skydance Bridge connects the north section of the park to the south section. It is the perfect venue for a Summer pride celebration.
- Stay close to all the celebrations at the Omni Oklahoma, rated “Fabulous” with a stunning outdoor pool and modern gym.
The Alliance Parade in the Arts District
- Sunday 28th June, 2026 – The OKC Pride Alliance Parade will take place on the Saturday of the event from 11 am.
- The parade starts on Walker Ave & Couch Dr, heading south to OKC Blvd, then east to South Robinson Ave.
- Tip – Grab a spot along Walker Ave between Couch Dr and OKC Blvd: perfect for front-row parade views and seeing creative floats up close.
Pride on 39th Street
- Saturday – Pride On 39th Street turns the Plaza District into a colorful drag and dance block party with local art installations and performances
Gay Oklahoma
- The NW 39th Street Enclave, also known as “The Strip,” “May-Penn,” “39th & Penn” or simply “39th Street” is a prominent lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) district in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- The area is located along NW 39th Street in the city's northwest quadrant, one block west of Pennsylvania Avenue.
- Apothecary 39 – a wonderful neighborhood bar with inexpensive drinks and an incredibly friendly bartenders.
