It may be winter, but the bears come out of hibernation in Ptown in March. Provincetown is one of the most popular destinations for bears and chasers in the US.
The Out of Hibernation weekend is organised by UrsaMen and the Crown & Anchor. The event is a celebration of the coming springtime and getting out to celebrate. Out of Hibernation Bear Weekend is a fun time of year in Provincetown for all the Bears, Cubs, Otters, Wolves, and friends to get together for an amazing weekend of parties, Contest, games, and more..
Highlights of the event include the Meet And Greet, where you can mingle with guys from around the US and beyond, meet up with old friends and make some new ones! Next up is the Macho Bar Party at A House from 9pm until closing.
Saturday hosts the Tough Drag Bingo at the Wave Bar on Commercial Street followed by the Bears and Boxers Party at the Paramount. (clothes check available). Saturday evening ends up at the A House with the Macho Bar party.
Sunday draws proceedings to a close with the Farewell Brunch at Central house featuring a special farewell brunch menu.
