Helsinki Pride highlights and rejoices everyone’s right to openly be as they are. Pride brings forwards the notion that our society is not ready until equality and equity includes all.
Pride week is a full of rainbow colored program; there are lectures on current topics, discussions, sunny picnics, workshops, art and culture and of course several awesome parties which continue until the late morning. There are events for all ages. Targeting participants of 13-25 years, the Youth Pride (Nuorten Pride) forms its own entity of Helsinki Pride.
The theme of Helsinki Pride is freedom and responsibility. The organisers want to bring human rights, equality and equity back to the discussion from the point of view of the society, community and individuals.
Helsinki Pride welcomes you to enjoy the versatile program, cheerful atmosphere and summery Helsinki! Helsinki Pride culminates on Saturday with the Pride Parade that starts from Senate Square and continues to a Park Party and the closing party in the evening.
