Ogunquit is one of the top gay destinations on the East Coast of the United states attracting thousands of gay guys from the US and beyond. The Independence day weekend is the highlight of the Summer season.

The Parties
- Get ready for a weekend of fun as Independence day parties take place all weekend in Ogunquit’s top gay bars and restaurants including The Front Porch, and Maine Street. The streets will be bustling, the sunshine plentiful, and the warm breezes sea-kissed.
The Fireworks
Watch one of the most spectacular 4th of July firework displays overlooking the stunning bay. It is the perfect location to celebrate Independence day. Beginning at 7:30 pm a DJ will be playing music and entertaining the crowd. After the fireworks don’t rush away because the DJ will be playing until 10pm.
- The pyrotechnics will flash and boom from 9:15 to 9:35 PM over Ogunquit’s Atlantic sand. Visitors have great views from the entire beach, from Main Beach all the way up to Footbridge Beach, North Beach and beyond!
- Many people also watch from the Marginal Way footpath.
- Gay guys gather in the early evening at “Section G” of the gay beach.
Note: (On the off chance of rainy weather, the Ogunquit Beach fireworks action will be shifted to the next day, July 5.)
