DILF, everyone’s favourite gay pop-up party, returns to Birmingham for its signature bi monthly event.
DILF Birmingham 2026
DILF brings its men-only dance party to Birmingham, attracting bears, daddies, cubs and fetish guys for a night of house music, stripped-back outfits and a sexually charged atmosphere. The party takes over Eden in the city’s Gay Village, making it easy to combine the event with a weekend exploring Birmingham’s gay bars.

What to Expect
DILF has built a following across the UK by creating a club night where men can dress down, enjoy the music and meet other guys without the formality of a traditional fetish event.
- Expect a predominantly masculine crowd, from older daddies and stocky bears to younger cubs and athletic guys.
- The soundtrack moves between vocal house, driving tech house and harder late-night beats, with dancing at the centre of the experience.
- Some guests arrive in full fetish gear, while others change into jocks or underwear after entering. There’s no requirement to wear leather or rubber.
- The atmosphere is flirtatious and body-positive, with plenty of socialising alongside the dancing.
DILF is primarily a dance party rather than a dedicated sex club. Don’t assume that cruising facilities or a play area will be available unless advertised for the specific edition.
The Venue – Eden Birmingham
Eden Bar is a longstanding Birmingham gay venue, now operating from a converted former bank on the corner of Gooch Street and Sherlock Street.
- The building has several distinct entertainment spaces, including bars, terraces and an upstairs events area.
- Its converted-bank setting gives it a different character from the smaller bars along Hurst Street.
- Birmingham New Street station is approximately a 10-15 minute walk away, making the venue convenient for visitors arriving by train.
- Most Gay Village bars are only a few minutes away on foot.
For the November edition, follow the event-specific entrance and cloakroom instructions rather than assuming the arrangements used for Eden’s regular cabaret nights.

Before the Party – Gay Birmingham
Birmingham’s Gay Village occupies a compact area around Hurst Street, Kent Street and Lower Essex Street. Most venues are within a few minutes’ walk of one another, so it’s easy to visit several before DILF.
- The Fountain Inn – 102 Wrentham Street. An old-school gay pub with a predominantly male following, traditional bar atmosphere and outdoor space. One of the better choices for meeting local guys before DILF.
- The Village Inn – 18 Kent Street. A Birmingham gay institution featuring drag, cabaret and DJs. Its Village Underground club adds a more energetic option for weekend visitors.
- Missing Bar – 48 Bromsgrove Street. A lively gay party bar with DJs, drag performances and karaoke. Good for groups looking for a busy start to the night.
- Equator Bar – 123 Hurst Street. A small, relaxed cocktail bar where conversation takes priority over loud music. Ideal for an early drink before changing into party gear.
- The Fox – 17 Lower Essex Street. A welcoming community pub with a pool room and beer garden, particularly popular with Birmingham’s lesbian community.
- Glamorous Birmingham – 27-35 Hurst Street. A late-night gay club with drag, DJs and commercial dance music. Better suited to visitors looking for somewhere to continue after DILF.
Where to Stay
Southside and the area around Birmingham New Street offer the best locations for DILF. Choose a hotel close to the station or the Gay Village and you can explore the city without relying on taxis.
