If you are heading to Barcelona for a weekend or longer, try and time your visit to coincide with the world-famous Sunday party, Churros con Chocolate, which takes place monthly throughout the year and during Special holiday weekends. They also host an epic weekend of parties during Barcelona Pride.

- 💙 Churros (Sala 1) – Hits, pop, reggaeton, shows and performances.
- 🧡 Anti (Sala 2) – Electrónica, house, disco y techno.
- ❤️ Rumore (Sala 3) – Shows, bingo, karaoke.
- 16:00 – Doors crack open. score those churros y chocolate merengas, then let the party grip you.
- You get hits, pop, dance, urban, pachangueo, drag shows, performances, prizes (yes, up to 300 €), surprises nonstop.
- Runs for a solid stretch until 05:00. Expect sweat, glitter, connection, queer anthems, the full works.
- Churros also hosts special editions with Outhaus & Sweetie Darling throughout the year.

The Venue
- September to June – Sala Apolo is one of Barcelona’s most iconic live music and club venues, situated at Carrer Nou de la Rambla, 113, in the Poble Sec neighborhood. It’s a cultural landmark that has hosted countless concerts, DJ sets, and various arts events over the years.
- The venue is divided into two main areas: Apolo 1 and Apolo 2. Apolo 1: The larger of the two, this room boasts a grand stage with impressive lighting and sound systems. The decor is a mix of classic and contemporary, featuring red velvet curtains, ornate chandeliers, and graffiti-adorned walls.
- Both spaces are equipped with bars that serve a variety of drinks and snacks, ensuring you stay refreshed throughout the night.
- Sala Apolo is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Eixample district.
Getting there From Eixample:
- Take the L1 (Red Line) from any station in Eixample to Plaça d’Espanya.
- Transfer to the L3 (Green Line) heading towards Trinitat Nova.
- Alight at Paral·lel station, which is just a 2-minute walk from Sala Apolo.
Barcelona Pride Edition 2026
- July 2026 – Awaiting dates- CHURROS hosts a weekend of parties during the Barcelona Pride Edition.
- Events run on Friday and Saturday night with an outdoor event on the Sunday afternoon.
- Sala Apolo in Barcelona plays host to Churros con Chocolate Friday and Saturday Pride Editions.
- The club is a sprawling, split-level concert venue with 2 bars, located on Carrer Nou de la Rambla.
- Sunday returns with the Summer Terrace Event
- The club is a 10-minute ride from Eixample.
The Summer Edition
- Next Edition – Awaiting dates – OPEN AIR EDITION – SUMMER 26 – June to September.
- Join the funniest firecracker of a party on Sundays in Barcelona.
- Going out to party on Sundays is in fashion, thanks to Churros con Chocolate!
- The party takes place on Sunday from 5 pm until 6 am the next day and is very popular with locals and tourists. Arrive early as the queues to enter can be quite long.
- Churros is a fun event where people dance and don’t take themselves too seriously. If you are looking for shits-off circuit boys, then consider a Matinee party instead.
- The Event also cohosts an Electronic House edition with Outhaus & Sweetie Darling several times per year.
- A taxi ride from Eixample to La Terrrazza typically takes around 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately €7–€9 . Taxis are readily available throughout the Eixample district.
The Venue (Summer Edition) 2026
- Summer high season (June to Sept) – Events are hosted in the open air at La Terrrazza Barcelona – “Pueblo Espanol” (Spanish Village), located in the city; an open air museum replicating the typical buildings from all regions of Spain. The venue is the perfect combination of music, nature, freedom and most of all fun, from midnight to sunrise.

- For the Summer edition (July to Sept) stay close to the open air terrace at the Occidental Barcelona, rated “Superb” with one of the best rooftops in the city, stylish rooms and a luxury vibe.
