Thursday 31st December 2026 9 pm–3 am	Bearracuda Portland New Year’s Eve	NOVA PDX, 722 E Burnside Street. The fourth annual Portland New Year’s Eve party, hosted by Matt Bearracuda and JP Hardy. DJ and entertainment lineup awaiting announcement.

Where to Go Before the Party

• Hey Love is the easiest starting point near NOVA. Set inside Jupiter NEXT on East Burnside, this plant-filled cocktail bar serves Mexico City street food by Machetes. Go for dinner and drinks, then walk the two blocks to the party.
• Silverado adds a cheekier start, with male strippers and drinks in Old Town. Meet friends here, then take a taxi across the river to NOVA.
• Eagle Portland is the pick for leather and fetish fans, with gear encouraged and regular themed nights. Its North Lombard location needs a separate taxi ride, so leave time to reach the main party.

The Birthday Edition Venue

• Nova Portland – NOVA in Portland is an intimate, multi-room venue known for high-energy queer parties, underground techno nights, and immersive visual setups.
• The space mixes warehouse grit with art gallery vibes—expect fog, lasers, and gender-fluid dancefloors. Frequent collaborations with local collectives and visiting acts from LA, Seattle, and beyond.
• From the heart of the gay district around Stark and Burnside, it’s about a 10-minute taxi ride east across the river toward SE Portland.

Pride Edition 2027

• July 2027 – Portland Pride Edition – A Three party event held over two days during Portland pride.
• Typically held at the Bossanova Ballroom, an event space and former theater building located at 722 East Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon’s Buckman neighborhood.
• It features a dance floor, two stages and bars, and a game room.
• The theatre is 7 minutes from downtown. Stay at the charming Harlow Hotel, rated “Wonderful” by guests, in the pearl district.

Gay Portland

• Downtown Portland  – This neighborhood has recently gone through a complete renaissance and has been established as an LGBTQ enclave in the city. Downtown is a buzzing and vibrant area with indie shops selling local brands, creative dining, and eclectic food trucks.
• The main gay districts had been downtown around SW Harvey Milk Street (formerly Stark Street) and in Old Town around NW Davis and NW 3rd with other places of interest across the river, including NW Broadway, SE Stark and NE Sand. Neighborhoods along SE Belmont and SE Hawthorn are pleasant to browse, with lots of charming shops and restaurants. Some retain remnants of 60s counterculture that have all but disappeared elsewhere in America.
• Pearl District  – This is a former industrial section of Portland that now booms with commerce and art. This district is often called “fashionable” and “lively” and is the prime shopping destination in the city. From hip brands to indie boutiques and warehouse spaces, it’s the cool neighborhood

• Choose the Central Eastside for an easy walk home from NOVA, or the Pearl District and downtown for restaurants, shopping and Old Town nightlife.
• Jupiter NEXT – Best for the party: modern rooms, city views and Hey Love downstairs, just two blocks from NOVA.
• Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District – Stylish Pearl District base for cafés, galleries and Old Town drinks; take a taxi to the party.
