• Nova Portland – NOVA in Portland is an intimate, multi-room venue known for high-energy queer parties, underground techno nights, and immersive visual setups.
• The space mixes warehouse grit with art gallery vibes—expect fog, lasers, and gender-fluid dancefloors. Frequent collaborations with local collectives and visiting acts from LA, Seattle, and beyond.
• From the heart of the gay district around Stark and Burnside, it’s about a 10-minute taxi ride east across the river toward SE Portland.

• Bearracuda Portland is held at the Bossanova Ballroom, an event space and former theater building located at 722 East Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon's Buckman neighborhood.
• It features a dance floor, two stages and bars, and a game room.
• The theatre is 7 minutes from downtown. Stay at the charming Harlow Hotel, rated “Wonderful” by guests, in the pearl district.

Gay Portland

• Downtown Portland  – This neighborhood has recently gone through a complete renaissance and has been established as an LGBTQ enclave in the city. Downtown is a buzzing and vibrant area with indie shops selling local brands, creative dining, and eclectic food trucks.
• The main gay districts had been downtown around SW Harvey Milk Street (formerly Stark Street) and in Old Town around NW Davis and NW 3rd with other places of interest across the river, including NW Broadway, SE Stark and NE Sand. Neighborhoods along SE Belmont and SE Hawthorn are pleasant to browse, with lots of charming shops and restaurants. Some retain remnants of 60s counterculture that have all but disappeared elsewhere in America.
• Pearl District  – This is a former industrial section of Portland that now booms with commerce and art. This district is often called “fashionable” and “lively” and is the prime shopping destination in the city. From hip brands to indie boutiques and warehouse spaces, it’s the cool neighborhood
